This is the nest of well-organized and trained scammers. A $50 oil change cost me over $2,000 the other day. They will tell you to move your car to the repair shop despite you going there for a simple oil change. Then they will demand to hand over the key to them. Why? Because they want to prevent you from running away from their trap. Before you realize what's going on, they start making a list of things they will do to your car without even opening up the hood to check what repairs are needed and demanding to sign the paper. My car was running perfectly ok and I had no troubles at all for over 10 years. It's unbelievable that this is a Japanese new car dealership. If this happened in Japan, the dealership wouldn't last even a day. People over there are known for honesty and integrity. What a shame. I know a person at a higher position in the Honda headquarters in Japan and I'm going to tell him what happened to me and demand him to close this dealership immediately. Again you keep your car at the oil change bay and never give up your key. More
We had a great experience at this dealership because of our sales representative, Louis Fiagbar. We were very knowledgeable about the car we were interested in, even though we are usually Toyota buyers. Lo our sales representative, Louis Fiagbar. We were very knowledgeable about the car we were interested in, even though we are usually Toyota buyers. Louis was very knowledgeable about both makers and was able to give us important information about the CRV we were interested without being pushy or overbearing. He was a total professional and was very friendly and courteous. His hard work helped us to get the car and the deal we were interested in and we left the lot with the car the same day. If you are in the market for a car, I recommend asking for him by name. We have bought so many cars over the years and this was the first time we did not get turned off by an overly zealous sales rep. He was a pro from beginning to end! Thank you Louis Fiagbar! More
This is from on site visit to Pacific Honda, Kearny Mesa, SanDeigo. Salesman Collected drivers license and made a copy for himself, even though I was not test driving. He seemed as though he got what he wa SanDeigo. Salesman Collected drivers license and made a copy for himself, even though I was not test driving. He seemed as though he got what he wanted. He was Reluctant to give any info about the vehicle. For any info I asked was asked back with an irrelevant question. He himself ended the conversation and told me good bye. I later called sales manager asking why my drivers license was collected, he said they wouldn't and further he said the sales man could have a bad day and that we are all human beings and he assured me that my drivers license will not be mis used and that he would remove it from the system. I made a decision not to visit any other Honda facility and called Pacific honda for pricing details. He told he will call back, which he never did. More
They only want to sell - once you walk out of the door you’re “dead meat”. A senior executive Evan promised to call, probably meant in 2024. Greg the sales person had one objective - close the sale! My you’re “dead meat”. A senior executive Evan promised to call, probably meant in 2024. Greg the sales person had one objective - close the sale! My sister in law bought the car- no-one walked her through the features! I asked for an inspection prior to taking a 4,000+ mile road trip. The dealer was very receptive to my request. I was in and out within an hour. And the inspection was free. I am complaining about Pacific Honda in San Diego, California because of their poor sales team about communicating with paperwork and selling the vehicle. I was sold the vehicle on December 2022 and h California because of their poor sales team about communicating with paperwork and selling the vehicle. I was sold the vehicle on December 2022 and had a poor time and experience where I had to return to the location multiple times for paperwork and financial information issues. They were poor at communicating to my bank about payment details and I had to return multiple times to sign papers, which was ridiculous and a waste of my time. I also had the headache of dealing with their sales team, especially Richard Inzunza, about not communicating with me about how long I am waiting for to sign for the paperwork and threatened to walk out multiple times. Richard kept saying 10 minutes multiple times but no one still helped me. The finance team at this location is a disaster. They need more staff but even with a few staff, they still had poor communication and wanted to just crank out the sales but were not kind enough to just have a simple conversation. It was like speaking to robots. It was infuriating having to communicate back and forth, which gave me stress and I had multiple things to attend to but still was not taken care of. I plan to not come back here or refer this place to anyone. More
If you are looking for a dealer to waste your time on, then look no further than Pacific Honda. I reached out to this dealer on a Wednesday with the intent to purchase a vehicle from them, I was initially then look no further than Pacific Honda. I reached out to this dealer on a Wednesday with the intent to purchase a vehicle from them, I was initially informed they could hold the vehicle for 24 hours as I was looking to purchase it from a bordering state (Arizona). After I had asked if the hold could be extended to 48 hours to give me ample time to make work arrangements to get there, the used sales manager decided they could hold the car for 6 hours at most. So on Friday I informed them I would be getting there ASAP Saturday to pick up the vehicle. Saturday morning I am en route to the airport to take a flight there and I receive a call stating the vehicle actually has a recall so it cannot be sold until Monday. I asked if I could purchase the car outright since no one had purchased it yet and was informed that they cannot sell it to me until Monday and asked me to come there as they “do not sell vehicles unless it is in person”. Come Monday morning I call again to try to talk to someone to purchase the car and hold it until I can get to it and am informed that they cannot do a single thing with the car until the recall is finished and to call back later. I call again at approximately 3pm and am informed the recall was finished and the car was purchased. Clearly this dealer is only interested in wasting the time of individuals who have to make travel and work arrangements to try to do business with them and rather than explaining that things are unavailable, let individuals waste money to make arrangements. Don’t waste your time. More
Every time I come to this dealership, I feel taken advantage of. My last visits here were bad, & today I came for simple oil change. Was told 2-2.5 hrs but in reality, it’s more like 3.5-4 hours. Went to Pacific Honda to test drive a car I was interested in. When I arrived, there was noone around to acknowledge my presence. I went inside, still noone there to even greet me. There was a s interested in. When I arrived, there was noone around to acknowledge my presence. I went inside, still noone there to even greet me. There was a sales person in his private office on the phone. I waited for him to finish his conversation. When he finally finished, I let him I had an appointment to test drive a car. He had to get the key from another lot, so I had to wait another 5 minutes which I didn't mind. It gave me time to check the car out. After the test drive, we started talking about numbers. He took my car to get it appraised for trade in. Waited another 25-30 minutes only for them to come back with a lowball offer. I was still interested in the car and I told Eduardo to run my application anyway just so we have an idea what the finance terms look like. He said he will followup with me later in the day. When I got back home, I sent him an email to let him know there are a couple other cars I was interested in and asked him to run the numbers. I never heard back from him. Well, guess what? I bought a car somewhere else. More
