During your appointment, Ethan did review the tire concern with you and documented the recommendation in writing. The recommendation was not for two tires, but for four Falken Wildpeak 255/60R20 tires, including mount and balance, due to wire showing on the rear passenger tire. The tire was marked as unsafe on the service order, and the recommendation appears in the middle section of page three of the copy signed at pickup. At that time, the tire replacement was declined/deferred. We appreciate your past business and are glad to hear you’ve normally received very good service from Palestine Toyota. Our goal is always to communicate needed repairs clearly and document them properly for our customers. We appreciate your continued business and are always available to review the paperwork with you if needed. Customer satisfaction and safety is always our top priority.

Thank you, Sonya Faulk, for your feedback. We would like to clarify the details regarding your vehicle repairs. Your Chrysler 300 was originally diagnosed with a faulty driveshaft carrier bearing causing the vibration and noise concern. Because the carrier bearing is not serviceable separately, a complete driveshaft replacement was required. A new Chrysler driveshaft was originally quoted with an estimated arrival of 2–3 days, but due to cost concerns, a lower-cost LKQ used driveshaft option was selected instead. The used part required shipping from out of state, which resulted in the approximately three-week delay. The repair was then completed and the vehicle was returned. Approximately two weeks later, the vehicle returned with a separate vibration concern. As a courtesy, we inspected the vehicle at no charge to verify whether it was related to the previous repair. Our inspection found the vibration was being caused by a seized right front brake caliper, which led to overheating and warping of the front rotor. Recommended repairs included replacement of the right front caliper, flexible brake line, front brake rotors, and front brake pads. Those repairs were declined at that time. At Palestine Toyota, we believe it is important that reviews reflect a complete and accurate account of the repair process and recommendations provided.
