Had an issue on a Monday afternoon involving a thermostat and temp sensor on a 2018 Colorado. Was in the area and stopped by to see Scott. I had a "check engine" light come on 1 day after I had two tire system sensors replaced at Palm Chevrolet. I was told that I had to leave the car for the entire day to have "diagnostics" run. I had to wait a week to get the car an appointment to be seen.. I only have a single vehicle so I had to take advantage of the valet service to get back home. The valet service was only one way and I had to hire a ride to get back to the shop when the "diagnosis" was done. Once there i was presented with a quote for $2,400.00 for replacing a catalytic converter that wasn't covered under my extended warranty program that I paid $5,000.00 for when I bought the car from Palm Chevrolet. In addition to the catalytic converter there was additional items that needed to be fixed making the total estimate $2,700.00. U consider this type of after sales charges to be a rip off. This kind of treatment from the service department is taking advantage of the customer and I won't stand still for it. I intend to have a lawyer take a look at Palm Chevrolet's business practices.
