Interesting The five stars is for Hiram whom I worked with to get my oil change this past Saturday. There customer service for my oil change was amazing and he knows what he's doing. The oil change was good and all went well there but I had a windshield issue with my rain sensor since I had to replace it recently when it was smashed in by a rock. I replaced the windshield with an OEM windshield which was the exact one I had in the truck when purchased. Hiram referred me inside where I unfortunately met Roberto Del Campo. I stood there for a little bit while he stared at his phone checking his social media or whatever he was super focused on when all of a sudden he looks up throws his phone down and says yeah. I explained what was going on with my windshield in detail which either he couldn't hear me at all or just wasn't listening which is my guess. He goes on a rant about putting in another new windshield and about some random company that puts in windshields named safeguard. I get frustrated having to retell him everything all over that I just said so he starts getting angry where his goofy mask is about to fly off his face. Hiram then comes in and says he just needs it recalibrated which is the appointment I was trying to set up and Roberto says "oh yeah that too. I can't do that today." And just stares at me again.I replied "I know that thats why I'm in here to schedule something can I do that?" He says sure and just stares at his computer so I said never mind man your to busy. Then his answer turns to "Yes sir". And as I was leaving "Have a great Day!!" I've been in customer service for many years and that was the absolute worst that I've experienced in my life. I've spent $64K here total here this year and over $110K within the last 4 years between my family and I. I know thats not much but I do expect a descent person to deal with compared to this so called "master Service Advisor" and don't expect to have to explain what basic terms like OEM mean let alone have to repeat myself over and over while he's so invested into his cell phone. I dealt with Winston when I had parts added to my new truck a few months ago and he knew exactly how to be a descent person and got the job done with amazing customer service super simple and not aggravated that I was working with him. Same with Hiram who was very happy to help. I drove to this dealer for the first time for service because it was great when purchasing my vehicle in sales and getting parts added but if I have issues and would like to schedule an appointment while my truck is getting serviced I Do Not recommend them. Especially from Roberto Del Campo he's just looking for a fight and doesn't want to be bothered. I will be spending my hard earned money at a dealer closer to home for service, upgrades, and repairs. I’m not impressed w/ the Service at Palmer Dodge. The general atmosphere is simply not one with a customer first mentality. The initial greeting, the handoff from the porter to the service representative general atmosphere is simply not one with a customer first mentality. The initial greeting, the handoff from the porter to the service representative, the dress code are all weak. The process of picking up my vehicle was even worst, no thank you, no eye contact, just here’s your Jeep. In addition wearing a mask due to the pandemic is optional based on the employees prerogative. All of these issues point to a lack of management direction and training. One bright spot was Luis - my service representative, he was excellent - good follow up skills. Unfortunately he seems to be the only one that really cares for the customer. Bottom line - get your service done somewhere else. More
