We called ahead to discuss the repairs to our daughter’s jeep who is away at college. We were assured that if she had her vehicle in by 2pm on Thursday, we would have the warranty work complete by the time jeep who is away at college. We were assured that if she had her vehicle in by 2pm on Thursday, we would have the warranty work complete by the time she left on Sunday. It wasn’t. The part was missing from the delivery. We were not able to get the car back until Tuesday. We had to drive her back to college on Sunday (5 hour round trip) and we will have to make the trip AGAIN to take the car back to her. We would never have agreed to being the vehicle to you if we hadn’t been assured it would be done in time and now we are forced to spend 10 hours of driving to fix your problem. Extremely annoyed and disappointment is an understatement. More
I visited Palmer Dodge to have an issue with my truck looked at. I was surprised there is no waiting room and the service department is a small office in the back of the parking lot. The service advisors were focused on their portable workstations instead of welcoming anyone who walked into the office. After asking who could help me, I was introduced to my service advisor. The service advisor was nice; he took my keys and checked me in. He then just said he'd call me an uber and send me home and they would look at the truck and get back to me over the weekend. This was pretty straightforward, just not my standard expectation of a service team interaction. Great that they called me a uber, it made it easy to get home. When my diagnostics were done, I received a 120-character text that barely explained what was wrong and the amount ($3500). Thankfully I KNOW what they were talking about, but the lack of detail and no supporting documentation is lackluster. I was also miffed that they charge a credit card surcharge of 3%. I also own a KIA, and I'd rate their service center experience a B+, with this being a C-. I have worked with independent shops (A+) that have a much better experience. This is the second RAM dealer I have been to since buying my truck, and I will be returning to the prior dealer. I wasn't impressed with them, but less impressed with Palmer. More

Even with an appointment, a simple oil change took two hours. This isn't the first bad experience we've had at this facility. It's certainly changed out future plans to lease another Jeep.
