Not all dealerships are created equal I have had experiences at several dealerships and as many others, have an expectation that I will get some half truths, a little bait and switch talk, I have had experiences at several dealerships and as many others, have an expectation that I will get some half truths, a little bait and switch talk, pushy sales, and a lot of upselling. I called over the phone and asked if they were open to a price for a used truck; they agreed so I made the drive from central san Diego. When I arrived at the dealership, as soon as they had my name, they looked up the amount I wanted to pay and told me they had the car ready for a test drive. I had my son and Sam helped me strap in his carseat and even got him a coloring book to play with while we drove. I decided I liked the truck so we needed to start talking about the purchase, payments, etc. I had a truck and wanted a specific value for it so I told them I was just going to sell private party. Sam told me he would like to appraise to see if they could get me the value I was looking for and make it easier for me. Since I had my 1 year old with me, I was concerned how long it would take. Sam said 10 minutes and they were back with my keys in 8. They didn't get me the value I wanted but they got a lot closer than I expected. Next we ran into an issue with the CPO. I thought this was one of the gotcha moments where what I thought I was getting gets flipped on me. Manny in finance took my phone to the sales team and asked if the car should be CPO as it wasn't in the system that way. The team stepped up and immediately started working to get it switched to Certified. By the time we were half way done with the purchase paperwork, the CPO paperwork was complete. Once the purchase was complete, Sam took me to the truck to start learning all the new toys I had at my fingertips. Ely, who was very personable and had helped throughout the process, walked over and shook my hand, thanking me for coming up today to make the purchase. Sam prepared a goody bag and distracted my son while we enrolled in Onstar and went over everything in the truck. Overall I am very happy with the great experience and want to thank Sam for going the extra mile! I will definitely recommend you guys as the experience and valuable add ons make this as wonderful and exciting an experience as it can be. Eric More
