An Experience you want to tell everyone about At 64 yrs old, this was not "my first rodeo" Over the years I had come to look at buying a car from a dealership like going to the dentist, you expect At 64 yrs old, this was not "my first rodeo" Over the years I had come to look at buying a car from a dealership like going to the dentist, you expect it might be a bit uncomfortable so you brace yourself. Not so at Paradise. I was pre-approved via internet, had a reasonable idea of what my trade should be and was prepared to "negotiate" the deal that I wanted. Boy was it a pleasant surprise! Thad, contacted me by phone, actually gave me a lease quote on the phone (contingent on the condition of my trade) and assured me that this would be the most pleasant car buying experience of my life. There were no other Spark EV's in stock anywhere in San Diego County driving range and some of the other dealerships asked for a $500 deposit to hold one for me when the next shipment comes in. Because we live 80 miles away and couldn't come to the dealership until the week-end, Thad assured me that he would hold this vehicle for me until the week-end and never once demanded a deposit. When we first met Thad, we were impressed with his friendly, non-imposing demeanor and had a genuine sense that he honestly cared about making us comfortable. I was surprised when he asked, "So what would you like to get for your trade?" and immediately after we returned from our test drive, everything was typed up and ready for my review. I got everything I asked for with absolutely no need for haggling. Man was I happy. Then came finance! I was expecting a bit of pressure to purchase extras but instead, I was presented with options and my choices were honored without any pressure. It was perfect from beginning to end and even beyond. We left the dealership and went to an outdoor event about 7 miles away. As the sun set, it began to get chilly and I realized I had left my jacket in my trade. Concerned that the dealership might close, I called to inquire about the closing hours and told them I would be there before closing to pick it up. About 15 minutes later, a smiling Thad was standing in front of us with my jacket and some CD's I had also left in my trade. We offered to buy him dinner but he said he had to return to work as it was Saturday night and he wanted to finish up his paperwork for the week end. Needless to say, everyone within an earshot heard about Paradise Chevrolet/Cadillac and we couldn't wait to post 5 stars all over the internet as well as tell all our friends and family about the whole experience. It was well worth the 80 mile drive. The Temecula wine country is a beautiful place to visit and Paradise is a perfect name for your dealership. It was a divine experience. I got the truck of my dreams! I have never had an experience quite like the one I had on Saturday. By a stroke of luck I was handed off from one salesman to another.
