After some thought and an informative conversation with Lou Long at the dealership, (Christian was not available), we decided to special order the car of my dreams. Lou was awesome to work with-- he really knows his stuff and made the process of buying a car a great and a fun experience. He was extremely helpful throughout the whole process of ordering my car. Lo My wife and I visited more than 12 dealerships in San Diego (home) and disappointed decided to visit some dealerships in our old home of Temecula. Long story short, visited 5 dealerships in Temecula but all the sales persons (except Robert) thought that my budget of $10,200 out the door budget was unrealistic and that I would bend. I have bought 11 cars over the last 20 years... I know when a salesman "get's it" and when they are blowing smoke up my tailpipe. With Rob's help we bought a fully-loaded GMC Envoy with an out the door cost of $10,265 - $65 more than I wanted to spend but that was much more realistic than some dealers asking me to come up more than $1,000.
