Focused on up-selling cleints My 26 year old son took his car in to get his state inspection done to renew his tag. After waiting 20 minutes or so, the service manager came out an My 26 year old son took his car in to get his state inspection done to renew his tag. After waiting 20 minutes or so, the service manager came out and told him he needed his struts replaced. My son sadly assumed that this had to be done or his car would not pass inspection, so $600+ dollars later, he had them replaced. When it was all over, he asked were his paperwork was for his state inspection and the service manager said they had not done a state inspection. So all that money was for nothing. They merely took advantage of a young guy to the tune of about 2 house payments. They have tried to up sell me all but 2 times that I've went there for an oil change and just two weeks ago we left our other son's Lincoln there for a $250 repair on the air conditioner while we were on vacation. Of course, it was up to $400+ before the repair was complete even though they had seen the car a week before and quoted $250 on what my husband thought would have been a recharge on the freon level. I've bought 4 new cars there since 2008 and referred at least 3 people to purchase there, but they just lost my respect and business and this decision is based on the service department staff. More

He went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I were at ease about this purchase.
