Salesman, Jim Moir, did little to NO educating us about the car. He was slow to get the paperwork done. He did not at any point discuss with us the maintenance schedule. The finance person, Ryan, rolled his eyes and made faces when we were discussing the Gap insurance coverage option. Very Rude! In fact, so rude that we decided to purchase our second Kia from another dealership. The buying experience was as different as night and day. We have not at any point received follow up calls from Paramount of Hickory to thank us for our purchase or to see if there were any questions/concerns that they could help us with. We are super disappointed with the overall buying experience from this dealership! We will not have our vehicles serviced with them or give them any business at any point in the future. More
I was treated so nice I have never been treated as nice as they did everyone that you came in contact with was so nice and helpful. Scott was so great he took time to talk to us and just to to know us it w as they did everyone that you came in contact with was so nice and helpful. On April 7, 2011 my husband and I drove to Hickory to look at vehicles. I had looked online at Kia Souls and similar vehicles. We started off going to Carmax first and looked at several used vehicles. We then test drove a Nissan Cube. We were not planning on buying that day. We decided that we would drive to the Kia dealership and test drive a Soul. I was not intending to buy that day. I hate pushy salespeople to be honest and that is what I am used to at car dealerships. I was with my husband when he bought both his new trucks and it was not pleasant. This time I was very pleased. When Tim came out, he was not pushy. He gave us time to look and ask questions. He took us for a test drive and I was very pleased with all the information that he gave us. When we got back from the test drive, he asked us if we were interested in trading our vehicle and said he could do a quick appraisal, no more than 15 minutes. He was right. It was around 15 minutes and he had a quote of what we could buy the car for and what they would give us for ours. We were very happy with the offer made on our car. It was higher than KBB and a bit higher than another offer we had been made. We decided to buy! He then showed us all the features our new car had and made sure we knew what we were getting. He was great! I would not hesitate to recommend Paramount Kia and I would especially recommend Tim Whitener as a salesperson. Thanks, Denise Manus More

Jim Moir, one o & have had a great experience dealing with them over the years. So when it was time to trade & look for another vehicle, I went back. Jim Moir, one of the salesmen, promptly met me on the lot & showed me around. Every step of the way through the purchase, Jim was very helpful.What impressed me about Jim was that he knew the salesman I had dealt with 6 years ago---it showed me he had been around Paramount Kia of Hickory awhile. The new service department is more accessible than before with friendly people working in there. Jim showed me around the different departments & offered me different vehicles to compare. I settled on the Soul & Jim found the one with everything I wanted on it plus the color I liked. Overall I would tell others of the good deal I got at this dealership on a new car plus the service they provide after the sale. More

The experience of buying our new KIA Optima was very pleasant and stress free. Normally, buying a car is worse than going to the dentist. But, our salesman Brent Huffman was not pushy at all. He was very honest with all the questions I had for him and was very patient with all the scenarios I wanted to clear up before purchasing a new vehicle.
