As soon as the dealership got the BMW that fitted my need, Jeff notified me right away. He was very straight forward and honest with the pricing. He made the car purchase process 100 time easier. No bait and switch game. He would keep his promise and made sure you were well treated as a BMW client. Unlike other car salesman who would ignore you completely after the sale. Jeff would continue to support his client and coach me how to use the functions on my BMW. He would also take care of any issues that I brought up after the sale. In addition, the Finance Manager Roger Pic was easy to work with. No hard selling on any plans but instead he will provide all the options for you to choose. He would make sure all paper work done quickly so that I could enjoy the ride sooner. Overall everyone in PARK AVE BMW are very nice and they want you to feel like you are their valuable client. I was lucky to have the best combo (Jeff & Roger) and able to trade-in my old car and drive out the Ultimately Driving Machine in less than 2 hours on a typical busy weekend. Best Auto Purchase Experience Ever - Mike Messinger is Great I have purchased many cars in my life but this is by far the best experience. I wanted a BMW 320i for European Delivery and found Mike Messinger to be I have purchased many cars in my life but this is by far the best experience. I wanted a BMW 320i for European Delivery and found Mike Messinger to be best sales/client advisor I have ever met. He totally knew his stuff from the first time I spoke with him. No pressure, no hype, no buzz, just a wealth of knowledge and experience about the BMW autos and the option for European Delivery and picking the car up in Germany (and spending some time at Octoberfest)! My initial contact with Mike was over the phone. I had spoken with at least six other dealers who claim to be European Delivery specialists but Mike had the answers, the best pricing and got the required paperwork to me in a very timely fashion. When it came time to finalize the deal with the Finance Manager, Gil De Oliveria, again, no high pressure for optional products, services or warranties, just a discussion of what they offered (such as LoJack) and other items that we may wish to consider prior to taking delivery of the car here in the US. That was it! Let me add, I live in the Miami area and Park Avenue BMW is in Northern New Jersey (yes, about 1,000 miles away. But I do have family and friends to visit in NJ, MD and SC so the drive down to Miami includes a few days with my mother and other family). I initially started with local dealers but it was extremely frustrating. The local dealers here were at best worthless, knew very little about European delivery and at worse arrogant. This includes 3 local dealers we went to, both Lauderdale BMW locations (Ft. Lauderdale and Pembroke Pines) and the downtown Miami dealer Braman BMW. The Braman was the worst. When I asked the salesperson about European Delivery, he asked me which one I wanted. I said 320i. He just turned and said “7% off the US MSRP. When else do you need to know?” Then he turned and just walked away. Not even a business card! (I guess if I wanted a 740iL or something they would have had a better attitude!) After later speaking on the phone with Mike Messinger, I knew I was going to buy the car at Park Avenue BMW! Regarding the European Delivery Plan, anyone should consider it at least once in your life if you like driving a BMW. You can make it an entire day’s affair and it is WELL WORTH the time. We checked in on our delivery date at 8:30AM to the BMW Welt location in Munich. It is a huge, fantastic location just across the street from the main factory. Just google it and take a look for yourself. After checking in, they go through the paperwork, passports, driving and drop-off information, etc. Then we went to the breakfast/lunch/dinner new owners area where they have a very nice buffet that you have complete access to until 6PM in the evening. You name appears on large TV monitors with the delivery time and name of the person who will be assisting you (ours was 10AM). If you walk over to the massive windows and look downward a floors, you will see your car in the center of the building spinning around as if at an auto show. The person walks you out the door and you can take pictures of it from above as you walk down the steps. Then, you arrive at your car (your luggage is sitting next to it). They come and take several pictures of you with your new car. Then for the next half hour or so, the person takes you to an area where the features of the car are discussed and you can even do driving simulations. Then, back to the car and then some more time spent pointing out the details and functions of nearly everything on the car. Well, at that point, you could drive off. But don't even think about missing the Factory Tour! It is just across the street and an incredible experience. We had ours scheduled at 12:00PM until 2:00PM. Way too much to discuss here. Then, we went back to the new owners area, had lunch (and of course some German beer that was provided). At around 3:00PM, it was off to the BMW Museum near the Factory. It’s definitely worth a couple of hours to see the history of BMW from the early aircraft engines, motorcycles and cars. If you are interested, they even have floors dedicated for the Minis and Rolls Royces. In any case, we went back to the new owner lounge area, had some more food and then went down and have the valet get our car. Then it was a couple of days each at Octoberfest, Austria and then Switzerland until dropping the car off about a week later in Frankfurt and then flying home (you can choose about a dozen drop-off points in Europe if you do not want to go back to Munich). Anyway, Mike Messinger, Park Avenue BMW and the entire BMW European Delivery program are great.
