When I Drove up I expected excellence.. What I got was an very short unpleasant experience from my service Rep Elizabeth.. She was not helpful to all. Putting me and my issue to the back burner on not 1 occasion but 3. Seems as if after she figured out it was an aftermarket warranty claim that would be handling my work my priority went out the door... So much in fact that I had to personally take a day off work to pop in to see why they hadn't come tasted my insurance /warranty company son that my vehicle work could be completed.
When I arrived to the deal after my car had already been with Park Place for 1 FULL WEEK With very little communication from the dealership as to what had been diagnosed and what would be covered. Immediately action started to take place she pulls out the invoice, says this is what we've come up with and this is what your warranty has stated.... Failing to mention to me that they were charging an excessive amount for hrs. Work far beyond standard book pricing per hr. As well as not making me aware that the part my warranty would cover was cheaper and they could or couldn't put it on for me to assist with this work being completed as swiftly and efficiently as possible.... It was almost like a don't ask don't tell type of ordeal with Elizabeth.. Also not to mention after having my car a week I was never offered a loaner from Mercedes from day 1 to day 10. The excuse I was givin was we are backed up and don't have any we could provide you... So finally after feeling as if I was being treated u fairly I called corporate and explained my situation... And a gentleman stated he would have someone call me. NO CALL. NO SOLUTION. and I explained to him non this call that I'd be happy if I did not deal or speak with this Elizabeth character due to the unfair or non communication, unhelpful disposition she placed me in with each unbearable conversation. Yes. No. Ok. I can't. We don't. That's all I heard from her. No dialing as to why or what she could do, or options to make me feel as if she was working with me... I felt as if I was i guilty of something and she was just waiting to lock me up and move to her next case... I know this Annalogy may seem odd but I'm a black male that has felt this uncomfort and treatment as not belonging somewhere quite often.. It's a feeling that just comes over you and you instantly understand that you are about to be railroaded for no apparent reason...
I continues to see people get loaner vehicles while I was there on both occasions the initial, as well as my pop up visit......
This must be posted to allow the world to see that the location on Lemmon avenue needs someone thas not in the inner runnings or close circle to govern this dealership bc there seems to be a lot of "I'll cover you" If you cover me type of mentality taking place... Which Never benefits the customer.. So we can and will continue to get mistreated if Noone speaks up on platforms such as this..
Oh by the way.. After warranties they still stated I owed over 1k out of pocket cost. Which was mainly due to diagnosis and labor cost.. Which can be and usually is negotiated... By the dealership to work with a customer.
