Reason for bringing vehicle to service: My 2007 Civic Reason for bringing vehicle to service: My 2007 Civic Si seemed to be consuming more oil than it should. First visit: Brandon greeted me fr Reason for bringing vehicle to service: My 2007 Civic Si seemed to be consuming more oil than it should. First visit: Brandon greeted me from the service team. While he was very professional he looked a little confused. The reason for this I found out in a matter of moments. The Civic I brought in was his a few years ago. (Small world!) After a short reunion with his old flame, he got the service team right on the task at hand. After about 30 minutes the team had found that the amount of oil being consumed was as expected for the Si. While most service shop would stop here, the team went much further and found that my engine area was missing a total of 6 bolts. (Who looks at bolts....) The team did an oil change and replaced as many of the bolts as they had in stock. (2 had to be ordered) We re-scheduled a time that the bolts could be replaced and an oil consumption test, performed. Second visit: Jose greeted me with coffee in hand, well not for me but there was some for me in the waiting area :). I was impressed with the attitude that Jose and Jennette had at 7 am. Jose got my car in for the bolts and to test the oil level. 35 minutes later my car was good to go. During the moments while my car was undergoing its beauty treatment form the service team, I hassled Jose and Jennette as much as I could to test their early morning awareness. I have to say these 2 are sharp and very funny. Both were very engaging and took the time to joke with me while still performing their duties. The whole ambiance of the place seemed too good to be true but please take my word for it, These guys are the real deal and are extremely trustworthy. (Service and trust are not synonymous enough these days). I am writing this in hopes that it reaches Mr. Johnstone and brings a smile to his face much like his entire service team did to me. Mr. Johnstone, your service team has just cemented your sales team a customer. Your dealership will be my, and my family's, first stop (hopefully only stop) on our future journeys for a new vehicle. We did not know that Wilsonville Honda was a negotiation free dealership until we were there. Feeling a little uncomfortable about it, we left and went to another dealership. When we told them that we had just come from Wilsonville Honda and asked it they could match their price, the manager got mad and told us that he couldn't even come close and that they were practically giving cars away! We left and went straight back to Wilsonville Honda. Working with Terri Jennings was a wonderful experience! She was friendly and professional and I have never had an easier or more enjoyable car buying experience! I would definitely recommend Wilsonville Honda to anyone looking for a car. More
I had lost one of the screws that holds my opening arm rest down, a part for my back windshield wiper, and my car was also a little slow to start mid-day. So, I called Jose in service and he said to bring it down at my convenience. Twenty minutes later, the service department replaced the screw and checked my battery at no cost to me and I ordered the wiper part. I LOVE the service department at Parker Johnstone, especially Jose and Jeannette. Living in West Linn, there are closer Honda service centers, but I have driven the extra 10 miles down to Wilsonville every time for the last 8 years for the personal service I receive at Parker Johnstone. I trust them with my "favorite dollars" and I wish there were more instances in the sales & service providing industry--auto, especially--where I feel like someone has my back. Thank you guys! More
