I recently moved to Gainesville and had a Hyundai Sonata that was inoperable with a flashing engine light, I made arrangements to have my car transported to Parks Hyundai and was assigned Ari as my Service that was inoperable with a flashing engine light, I made arrangements to have my car transported to Parks Hyundai and was assigned Ari as my Service Tech. Ari went above and beyond as far as providing clear communication and gave me a detailed explanation of the many issues with my vehicle. My car was serviced in a timely manner by Parks Hyundai, and I will continue to bring my vehicle to Ari in the future for regular maintenance. Thank you! More
Seems ok, I'd like to see the shop and not be kept inside hidden. Show me a wall of credits to the mechanics who are in the shop. I know your under new mechanic management and was told before to not use this hidden. Show me a wall of credits to the mechanics who are in the shop. More Scam than Service Got to Pay $300 For Lies, No Repairs I brought my Ford C-Max in to get the AC recharged yesterday (June 16th). Was told by Michael that to get my AC recharged, a diagnostic wo Repairs I brought my Ford C-Max in to get the AC recharged yesterday (June 16th). Was told by Michael that to get my AC recharged, a diagnostic would be required but that I shouldn’t be concerned as should I move forward with the AC being recharged, that the diagnostic fee would be waved. But he said that they would certainly be able to recharge it after the diagnostic. It’s summer in Florida, so I agreed even though the quoted prices were on the high end. Two hour job, so I’d be able to wait out the repair. Two hours later, I get informed that my car had been moved into the shop, but that I’d be able to get it in the morning as the service would take overnight. Ask Devon if I could just get my AC recharged so I could be on the way. Given a bunch of babble about why that wouldn’t be advised, then told that he’d go and check to see if diagnostic had been started but that it was doable. Get told that the diagnostic had already started on my car, and so it couldn’t be done. Next morning, I get quoted $4000 for AC repairs. Told Devon that I just wanted my AC recharged and wanted a quote on that. Takes two hours to get a quote. Diagnostic fee was not in fact included in the AC recharge. Ten minutes after signing the form for the service against my better judgment (which was severely over priced), I get informed that legally, they can’t do the AC recharge since they detected a leak. So, now, I’m left with the following conclusions: 1. I was definitely lied to by either Devon or Michael about if I could get the AC recharged without a diagnostic or not. 2. Florida changed the law back in the 1990s to allow for AC recharges in the presence of a leak. So I was lied to there. 3. I was told by Michael when checking in my car that they’d be able to plug back in a fog light connector that came unplugged and was hanging down from the front, free of charge. When I took possession of the vehicle, the fog light connector was still dangling. In summary: after two days of run around, I am $300 poorer, still have an unplugged light, and now need to find another mechanic to recharge the AC system. More
