Wonderfully pleasant experience. I bought a Ford Edge and the sales person, Jay Acevedo, was the most knowledgeable and thorough auto rep I have ever dealt with. Prior to this experience, we had a 36 month lease on a 2011 MKZ which was set to expire on 6/1/2014. Because we are retiring on 3/28/14, we wanted to negotiate the new lease so we'd know entering retirem 2011 MKZ which was set to expire on 6/1/2014. Because we are retiring on 3/28/14, we wanted to negotiate the new lease so we'd know entering retirement, what our monthly vehicle expense would be. In the months leading up to this transaction, we had had several interactions with the dealership. When we took the vehicle in for service, we would visit the showroom, talk to the sales staff, we met the new management and discussed our situation, looked at the new models and talked about the best time to come in and discuss a new lease. Early the week of 2/10, my husband stopped by the dealership and met with Georgio Rodriquez and Brent Russell to once again, discuss our situation. He was shown one of the 4 or 5 2014 MKZs that were on the lot. Later that same day, I went with my husband back to the dealership and was introduced to Georgio and Brent and shown the same vehicle they had discussed earlier in the day. Brett went over the vehicle in detail and demonstrated and/or explained each of the vehicle's options. During the discussion - - several times - - we emphasized that we were retiring and didn't want a payment over what we were currently paying and the vehicle which was being turned in. At no time were we lead to believe that this vehicle may be out of our price range. 'Sold' on the vehicle, we asked Brent to get us the numbers. The next day my husband went back to the dealership and learned that the payment on the vehicle would be much higher than what we were currently paying. While we were disappointed, we were more upset because we felt we had been mislead. All along, we had been quite clear about our financial needs in this deal and never got anything but encouragement and positive comments from both Georgio and Brent. There was never a mention that perhaps we needed to look at one of lesser expensive models or that we were aiming too high. We felt like they had (or SHOULD have had) an idea about whether or not this vehicle was within our budget and at the very least, put the idea in our head that they may not be able to make the numbers work on this particular vehicle. This was never the case. We shared our disappointment with Brent. The next day, Thursday, Brent called my husband to apologize for what had transpired and asked for an opportunity to see what he could do to make it right. At that time, we had an appointment that upcoming weekend at Bozard Ford Lincoln in St. Augustine. Brent called Friday and invited us back to the dealership to discuss another deal on this vehicle. Through the entire process, Brent was nothing but professional and Georgio was very involved in ensuring we were being taken care of. They worked very hard to come up with terms that allowed us to lease this particular vehicle and in the end, although we have a slightly higher payment (but certainly within range), we also have an amazing vehicle and an excellent experience to share. We continue to be nothing but impressed with Parks Ford Lincoln of Gainesville. Everyone from the GM and the sales staff, to the service department and even the contract & 'money guy' are awesome. Everyone is so professional and attentive. This is definitely one of those situation that could have ended very differently. In the end, it was the awesome people that made the difference! More

Brent was extremely helpful, but did not push the sale of the car he was able to educate you about the vehicle without sounding well like a salesman, he was patient and didn't pressure at all. The finance department made things easy put all expenses including dealer fees etc into the loan as well as extended service plan so there were no last minute sales pitches. More
