3 months of empty promises Here is a friendly public service announcement!!! NEVER DO Business with Parks Motor in Augusta. Have spent the last 3 months trying to get the car we Here is a friendly public service announcement!!! NEVER DO Business with Parks Motor in Augusta. Have spent the last 3 months trying to get the car we signed papers on July 24 fixed and ready for us to pick up from car lot. A lot of empty promises and missed dates for delivery then they don’t want to fix things that they originally agreed to because the service manager over promised ( I guess) because he got fired and now the only thing everyone up there could say is well he isn’t with us so we are going to have to make this right somehow. But they wanted us to compromise on what they had to fix body wise after they had to put in a new engine! (New engine was done in their service shop and then they didn’t even put it back together with wires and clamps done even left out screws on top of engine.Everyone up there kept saying how much money this was costing them and blah blah blah. I’m not buying a car with a messed up motor and dents and bumpers needing fixed. So yeah we tried to compromise even got it all in writing this time then went back to resign paperwork to complete the financing and finance guy told us we had to take the extended warranty and gap because that was the only way they were going to make any money! Umm nope 👎 I’m not paying an additional 5k for a car that you guys have xxxxxx us around on and had repairs that had to happen to deliver the car and we are supposed to bend over and just take it! Phhhh nope here are your keys 🔑 . Don’t shop at Parks they are NOT your friendly people dealership! Even had the general manager trying to bend over backwards last night to make things right but then we showed up today and she had done a 180.. what happened to customer is always right and we want you happy? Well that kind of treatment to your customers will cost you a car sale .. hmm 🤔 not sure how u xxxx customers off and still expect to get referrals! Not from this 👧 I will let everyone I know how badly we were treated not to mention wasting my time for last 3 months and numerous phone calls that were never returned and trips to dealership that cost us an entire evening on numerous occasions wasting over 4 hours on at least 6 occasions to have them trying to figure out their mess up! Don’t do business with Parks -worst customer service ever! Even had the finance guy stand up and say we were done when we refused the extended warranty! Rant over More
Terrible Customer Service Parks Motors sold me a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica that spontaneously burst into flames due to a faulty headlight (photo attached). Since they sold me the Parks Motors sold me a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica that spontaneously burst into flames due to a faulty headlight (photo attached). Since they sold me the MaxCare Lifetime Warranty on the vehicle, I called to ask the dealership, Parks Motors, if they would be willing to stand behind their product and help in some way. I was connected with a GM by the name of Christi Henderson who, after several minutes of combativeness, accused me of threatening her and hung up on me. Perfect way to handle a customer whose family of 7 was very nearly killed in a faulty vehicle sold by their company. I would recommend staying away from Parks Motors & buying a car from a reputable dealership who respects their clients. More

Prior to any repairs, the company was made aware that the car was driven through water. By Wednesday, the company called and told me the issue. In agreement to replace the part, they did. They then told me of electronic components acting up in another area. By Thursday, I was told to come pick my car up. The same day, I was told not to come pick the car up. The following Monday, I was again told to pick up the car as it was fixed. When I went to pick up the car on Tuesday (the following day), I paid for the service and left. I left the shop and not even making it 2 miles away, the issue with the car was still there. I took the car back to the shop and was issued a full refund. Since their diagnosis did not fix the issues, I requested that they put the old parts back on the car. They told me that they cannot as they no longer had them, but was "the reason that I got my money back." By that Thursday, I was informed in a message that they did not have time to look at the car. I called them and told them I was coming to pick up the car the following day. On Friday, I was told that I cannot pick my car up as "someone has to pay." Now, the company wants me to pay for parts - parts that did not fix the car. I would strongly recommend staying away from this company due to their bad business practices. More

They tried to give us another quote that was $1000 higher and acted irritated when we showed them the text messages they sent earlier that was the much lower quote. We said we had an old run down car we could toss into the trade if they could come down to the price we wanted. They said "Absolutely!" We brought in the old car and they said it wasn't worth it and gave us another quote that was higher than they originally said. They kept baiting and switching on us. They treated us like WE were hassling them. Extremely unprofessional. I'm never going back there again. More
Very Very bad customer friendly service Tried to buy a used vehicle, had settled on price ready to buy and they changed the price 3 times. Left without buying. Would not recommend this deale Tried to buy a used vehicle, had settled on price ready to buy and they changed the price 3 times. Left without buying. Would not recommend this dealership to any veteran. Checked with 2 other dealerships Told them what the vehicle was 2000 Nissan Frontier had 278000 miles on it smelled like a smoking parlor 4 cylinder stick shift. They both said the same thing, the vehicle if they had it was worth less than 1000. Shame this dealership tried to fleece q veteran. Joe Durham More

Scammed military personnel Let me start with this: They knew I am military. They scammed me (BIG time). They'll scam you too. I promise this is worth the read. Sharing this will Let me start with this: They knew I am military. They scammed me (BIG time). They'll scam you too. I promise this is worth the read. Sharing this will protect so many people. The brief run down is this: My buddy and I showed up looking for a Ram 1500. After looking at some stuff we didn't like, we went back inside and the salesman looked up some cars. Found a Hummer and we went and test drove it. Before we test drove the car, me, my friend, AND the salesman saw the car listed for $16,000. After the test drive I was ready to make an offer. Except, when I sat down and they pulled it up again, the listing magically gained $5,000 over the course of 30 minutes. They claimed the car was listed at $21,000. At first, I was confused and even asked about why the price wasn't $16,000 like we saw before. They treated me like an idiot for even thinking it could be that low. They were very rude, very pushy, and apparently needed 2 extra people to sell me this car (More like 2 extra people to make me feel like more of an idiot). They convinced me I was wrong. After hours of haggling I got the price to $17,000 but wasn't happy. I went home and thought about it over night. I also did some research and... oh guess what... found their listing. I was right, their listing was $16,000. I called them next day livid, to say the least. After calling out their very blatant lie, I went to speak with them in person. Now after this, they were quiet and clearly uncomfortable. I guess it's not often people actually express what kind of a low-life it takes to take advantage of people in the services (Side note: I don't give a crap about me. It's the fact that I know they are doing this to every other military guy too). I even asked the person who originally showed me the car on the computer to begin with why he didn't speak up when they said it was listed at $21,000. His words were, "I'm new and just trying to do my job." Not sure what kind of training they're giving to new people, but lying seems to be a part of the curriculum. I then said, "I want you to be totally straight with me, what was the original price that you showed me." His words, "I don't remember. I think it was like 16 or 18 thousand." So now that they said they'd start at the ORIGINAL listing price of $16,000, they wouldn't budge an inch for negotiating. The lowest they offered was $15,500. Their words were "We're already negative offering you $16,000." Just another blatant lie. A seller wouldn't go with any kind of a lower price if you're already negative, so why are you so ok with losing another $500? After that insulting offer, I did what anybody who walks through those doors should do... I left. Again, please share so we can spread the word. Read other reviews. This place is so shady. I am in the process of submitting claims to the Kansas Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. If the owner would like to contact me (or anyone from the dealership in fact), feel free to. Good salesman, terrible buying process. Cedric the salesman seemed to be a good guy that cared, but might be an act. Everything went good until it came to the paperwork. On the way home I re Cedric the salesman seemed to be a good guy that cared, but might be an act. Everything went good until it came to the paperwork. On the way home I realized I didn't receive my copies of the paperwork so the following Monday I contacted Cedric and he sent the request to the finance department. I got a call two days later saying the lender that I had already signed the paperwork for had fallen through and I had to put an additional $1200 down to make it work. I declined that offer as I had already signed the paperwork and agreed to the previous terms and the mistake was on them. They agreed to cover the $1,200 which I thought was awesome but when going over the paperwork I noticed they charged me $700 more for the vehicle, $399.99 for nitrogen and anti theft, $399 administration fee, and forced me to buy the $850 gap insurance. I have had the vehicle 11 days and have already had to replace the driver front TPMS sensor, passenger rear door actuator and engine air filter. Also, the coolant and power steering fluids were low, engine oil was dirty and hadn't been changed, and 2 of the tires need replaced. There is also a recall I was not informed about. More
