The lease on my current Prius was coming to an end and I was looking to lease a new Pruis V. I went to the Hackensack Dealership, which is closer to my home in Teaneck, but their service was so bad, I went was looking to lease a new Pruis V. Each time I dealt with a different sales person and they could not give me a straight answer. I told them I wanted a quote, so that I could then compare prices with other dealers. After being told that the price they gave me was their best offer, the sales person encouraged me to go somewhere else to compare, so I did. I looked up dealerships near me and came up with Parkway Toyota. I was immediately greeted by Carlos Guerrero and his calm, not pushy demeanor made me comfortable from the beginning. His first offer was less than the previous dealership and when I told him that I needed a lower down payment, he worked with me until I had a price I can afford. We first sat with Ernest who was friendly and very patient with us. At first he could not even find the car we were very interested in test driving. It was dark, it was raining but he kept at it un patient with us. At first he could not even find the car we were very interested in test driving. We took a nice long ride, which was awesome and gave us a real feel on the car we were very interested in after researching it so much. Then he played with the numbers to get us to a comfortable place. My partner was still unsure and wanted to sleep in this info. He looked disappointed but was ok with us coming back the next evening. By the next afternoon we were dealing with both Ernest and David to get some of the finalizing done as far as the final preps on the car and the insurance info. That evening we sat with David who has awesome customer service. He made small talk and made us laugh while we waited for finance to finish up paper work. The whole experience was very pleasant.
