Amanda, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your recent visit. When your vehicle was towed to our facility, it would not start or run as noted on your repair order and invoice. The only way to duplicate a misfire or loss of power is to have a vehicle that starts and runs. As our Service Manager communicated to you, the faults codes we pulled from the vehicle had no misfire faults at the time of diagnosis. Our technician’s recommendation was to "replace Hybrid battery and both Hybrid and Battery ECU's then recheck vehicle" because we could not diagnose any other issues for a vehicle that did not run. When you declined repairs, we were not given opportunity to further diagnose the vehicle. Passport Toyota did nothing to cause this issue. We diagnosed the vehicle in the condition it was brought to us in. You took our diagnosis and had the hybrid battery replaced by an outside vendor, which got the car started and then you took the vehicle to Far East to continue diagnosis for a drivability issue that was found to be caused by another aftermarket repair facility.
