I just wanted to say thanks to your sales staff regarding our purchase of a pre-owned Toyota. He was very helpful, friendly, and was not a high pressure sales person. He even played along when my family and I went up there to your facility to pickup the vehicle and we played it off as if my wife was just going to test drive the car when I had actually already bought it earlier in the day. I have been a two car owner for the past 20 years and have driven them until they could go no farther. Based upon my limited experience and a whole lot of misperception, I 'believed' that the process was designed with conflict, deciept, and dealership-WIN-car buyer-LOSE mentality in mind...that is, until I met the folks at Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney. I had not previously conisdered a Toyota because my last two new cars were Isuzus, and before that I drove a Honda, and my wife drives a 2004 Nissan that had given us our fair share of trouble. I had the pleasure of walking in to Pat Lobb Toyota and was immediately greeted (not attacked) and offered a bottle of water. They allowed me to ease into the situation...get comfortable. When I met John Mathews and his daugther Meghan they listened. They wanted to know what my needs were...I even shared the fact that I tended to own my cars for long periods of time. They showed me a variety of cars and let me look at my leisure...and they let me leave after my first visit without a commitment of having to close the deal then and there. I was surprised and pleasantly intrigued. On my next visit I drove the model I was interested in and they took the time to answer all my questions. I was sold (on my terms, not theirs) and within two hours I was rolling off the lot in my new Sequoia. John and Meghan even took extra time to teach me all the latest creature comforts available in my new car because frankly they were foreign to a guy that used to own a 12 year old car. They were very patience with me. I left the dealership feeling like I had a new friend in the folks at Pat Lobb and they have continued to be attentive and helpful as I contiue to learn all the options on my new car. I went for my 30,000 miles check up, oil change.Stepped outside to just look at he cars and Amanda approached me and said they had some great deals going on. And due to my credit score being better than 3 years ago, she told me they could lower my payments, which was very appealing. Very pleasant young lady, friendly, honest and sat down with Spike and he asked me what exactly I was looking to pay. Between them I was signing papers. Final visit with Chris- I was also looking for an extended warranty/ road assistance- well he dug in a little bit- and got me this great deal not really affecting the payment i wanted. this is my 2nd car i have bought from Pat Lobb- I have the option to go 5 minutes away from my house to Plano Toyota for services- i choose to drive 1/2 hour to Patt Lobb. I truly trust them- everyone is friendly, acknowledges you to see if you need any help, and I just feel comfortable goin there. Amanda was there till I exchanged my car belongings, and she even helped me transfer my trunk belongings. Which I thought was very nice. We did not leave with a hand shake, I gave her a hug.
