There is a scheduled time that the service department is very prompt to follow. The waiting area is clean and comfortable and the service associate comes out and explains what has to be done and how long i very prompt to follow. Offered a discount for services in that package that would not need to be done because I did not require them or they were done at this service visit (36K service). I refused the service and was told my car was ready for pick-up since no additional service was to be done. This was only my second visit to Patrick Hyundai (first visit earlier this year), so it should have been obvious that I had had my car serviced elsewhere previously. After checking my records at home I determined that I had my 30K mile service done as needed at the appropriate time. I was disappointed that the service employee did not ask if I had had it done but instead tried to sell me the service. More
I don't know how I can express my appreciation for Manny Diaz. During the 2 hours I was sitting together with him at Patrick Hyundai in Schaumburg, a suburb of Chicago, I enjoyed time with him. He helped me as a personal coach and a consultant in buying a new car. In comparison with 2 sales people I had met in the previous days in different dealerships, Manny seemed very honest, supportive and friendly. I thought he had a really great skill of customer service. I needed a person like him, because I was quite nervous. It was the first time to buy a new car with a loan in my life. In addition, the negotiated price was the best I had got ever for a Hyundai Sonata 2013 in Chicago area, even in Illinois. Yes, I did a negotiation with Manny!, but the process was very reasonable and smooth. The installment rate was very satisfactory. Manny was not xxxxx, thus I could make my final decision of purchase in a more comfortable way. The paper work went also well. Manny followed up with me a couple of times to confirm whether I like the new car. He helped me set up the Blue Link, a voice recognition system instead of me. I saved a lot of time due to his help. Awesome! Jesse Jaramillo, business manager at Patrick Hyundai who helped the final paper work was also very professional in making me understand the whole business. I'd recommend Manny at Patrick Hyundai strongly if you consider Hyundai. More

This survey is very upsetting necause if you you don't fill it out in perfect form you need to keep going back to re-enter vehicle brand purchased each time. My Black Friday started with TrueCar.com giving me prices on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited. My best price came from McGrath. Patrick was not one of the three quotes. But I did see an add that Patrick wil on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited. My best price came from McGrath. Patrick was not one of the three quotes. But I did see an add that Patrick will beat any deal by $1000. So I contacted both McGrath and Patrick. Andrea wanted me to get a quote from McGrath so we can deal. Well, I set up an appointment with McGrath and when I get their 30 minutes later, the car was not ready. I was looking for black on black. Of course they told me they have plenty there. Well the sales rep drove my friend Jeff and I to their lot where we drove up and down the aisles. Did not find one that was black on black. So I told him I would take the blue one. We head back to the dealership, but this time I test drove an Elantra GLS. When we got to his desk, he was looking for the colors I asked for. He found a black on black that was in stock but was not delivered yet. It was being transferred and needed to be inspected/checked in. As we sit down, the rep offers Jeff and me coffee and tea. I said water would be fine. Being polite, I said we'll just get from a water fountain and the rep said there is one around the corner. So we played with the numbers. I showed him my TrueCar.com certificate and I explained I also want the 0% for 72 months. He said I can't have both. I was like "what both are you talking about". He said that price includes the $1500 rebate. I told him I did not include any $1500 rebate when selecting my options in TrueCar.com. If you guys added it without my knowledge, then that's on you. I want this price plus the 0%. He comes back from talking to the GM and he said no. So, I was okay. Let's keep this price and asked if he will match Patrick's ad deal of $1000. Nope. They wouldn't do it. I call Andrea and she said grab the quote and come here. I show up at Patrick and I was matched with David. A real good guy. Very good sense of humor. He brought Jeff and me some water bottles. He explained to me what went down. He was being honest. He and the staff tried real hard to get my price. After we purchased the car, he walked us through the books (all the information needed to maintain and operate the vehicle). He walked us the car and all the bells and whistles. Amazing. When Jeff and I talked about our experience, we were very happy. You know what made that deal go through. We were stuck on a price. You know I mentioned the water fountain and the water bottles. Those water bottles sealed the deal. I did not tell that to David. But that alone, as small as a gesture it was, it was thoughtful and courteous. David made us feel comfortable. No push. No hassle. I'm very happy with my purchase. But I'm happier to be a Patrick customer. More
