My partner and I went there to check on the Kia that I’ve always wanted, originally we just wanted to test drive it but when all the “Talks” happened, Shannon our Sales Re there to check on the Kia that I’ve always wanted, originally we just wanted to test drive it but when all the “Talks” happened, Shannon our Sales Rep. made it super easy for us, especially me as a first time buyer. 1hr later after all the paper works and what not.. Working with Trevor, Stephanie, Curtis, and John K was a great pleasure. Our salesman was John K and after we bought the used car and took it home the windshield trim pieces came off. Best Service Department of any Dealership I live in Summit County and had a number of meetings in Denver. I didn't think I had time for a service appointment at Peak Kia so I didn't schedule I live in Summit County and had a number of meetings in Denver. I didn't think I had time for a service appointment at Peak Kia so I didn't schedule one. As my schedule freed up, I called Peak Kia to see if Peak could fit me in. They indicated that If I could make it there by 3pm, they could service my vehicle. I worked with Trevor Bloom who was exceptionally accommodating. He was able to have my oil changed, alignment done, and check on a few other things for me in the amount of time he said it would take. . . . all at a great price. Peak Kia's waiting room is far better than any waiting room I've ever been in for an auto dealership. It has just about anything you can imaging including, a well-equipped workout room, massage chairs, large screen TV, comfortable lounge, free computer work station, high speed internet, kid's play area, free coffee and tea, snacks, bottled water, juices, popcorn . . . too much to list. Peak Kia is the best!! More

Great People, Good Recovery! Okay, so call me jaded. But being around the automotive world all my life, and being a prior salesman, I know WAY too much. I cannot be anyone else Okay, so call me jaded. But being around the automotive world all my life, and being a prior salesman, I know WAY too much. I cannot be anyone else but who I am. I do however, try to see things on a dealer's lot from a novice's perspective. That being said.....let the adventure begin! I'm looking for a used car. These guys have one. I hit the lot. It's up front, away from the sales floor. :D Gives me time to check out the car before a sales rep shows up. 5 minutes...10....20....doors are unlocked! I crawl all OVER this thing! Pop the hood, trunk, check for evidence of accident damage, leaks, defects, panel fit, all but electrical stuff. WHAT? Dealer plate still in the rear window???? He, he, he....blackmail ammo! ;) Tire's are good, windows are clean. Paint is good, (but minor hail damage that I didn't notice till later). Time to hit the showroom, no one ever saw me crawling around the car. Poor John K.....He got the "up". He has no idea what he's in for. ;) I tell him what I'm there to look at and that I'm ready to buy IF the car is the right one. Well, you would have thought I said he won the LOTTO! Off he went to find the key! Friendly guy. He pulls the car up, A/C running, says, "lemme go get a plate". I said, never mind, there's one already in there! The look was priceless. :D I go for the driver's door....oh look, hail damage! Discount, discount, discount....... Off I go.....to get acquainted with the amenities and electronic gizmo's. WAIT! What's this? TPMS lamp on? Ok, not cool....but maybe simple reset. Get ready to drive, check mirrors.....check mirr....wait....switch....turn...but....ARG! Side mirrors are INOP! How in the world do you put a car on the lot with inop side mirrors??? DEFINITELY negotiation leverage. AND I'm throwing the TPMS light in too.....both are safety items required to be fixed before selling a car! Okay, breath...off we go. Back. I Park in front of the showroom windows. Drive went well. No Surprises. Check lights, reverse camera....good. Wait. Headlights are really weathered. Cracked in fact. I'll put that on the back burner.....those are cheap to replace. Back with John. What's your best price? It says $12,295. That ain't happening. I'll give you $8,500 given the above listed defects. John does the "manager dance". He and I hit it off pretty well. We talk a while about all kinds of stuff while waiting for them to figure out if they actually sell cars or store them..... Finally. Bottom line $10,500. Sorry bud. I gotta go. Lemme know when your boss is serious. Call me. <4 days later> John, yeah, how are ya? "Hey, how bout another $1,000 off? $9,500?" I will see if they will do the deal. Let's see, I said. Talk to them! 24 hours later I was driving my new-to-me car! John got himself a "mini" and the dealership isn't paying taxes on another car. He's a good man. Did me right. Part of the deal was to fix the TPMS and side mirrors which the dealer made good on as of this writing. I took care of the headlights. Why? Because stuff like this is a give and take. I'll pay less for those than chasing down electrical issues. Win, win. AND after delivery, the rear view camera and reverse lights went inop! So we swapped the TPMS for the reverse switch. They were very accommodating and didn't balk at all. If i weren't a mechanic would I buy a vehicle like this? No. Too many issues that may say to a novice, "money pit". I get it. But, since I am who I am and know what I know, I am more comfortable taking risks. Bottom line? Go see these guys. Poor product, but honest salesman (John Karimy) and used car sales manager (Sean Simpson). You can't always score a 100, but you can never replace honesty. I will always go with the latter. More
