After my buying experience I can't recommend this dealership. My wife and I stopped by on the spur of the moment to look. She was shown a car and she liked it. I didn't do my homework on this as I di dealership. My wife and I stopped by on the spur of the moment to look. She was shown a car and she liked it. I didn't do my homework on this as I didn't know we were going to look at cars that day. Well after buying the car I look on their website to find the car advertised $3000 cheaper. The next day when I asked about it I was quoted law on signed deals. A few days later the salesman told me it was a mistake online. Total lack of integrity to me. Be careful dealing with them More
WARNING…. I’m posting this as a public service to fight corruption, fraud and the auto dealer/service scams many of us have experienced or heard about and few d I’m posting this as a public service to fight corruption, fraud and the auto dealer/service scams many of us have experienced or heard about and few do anything to change. PELTIER Nissan, is guilty of warranty fraud. PERIOD! I have caught them red hand handed. Additionally, the service department led by service manager Rob, along with service advisor Anthony Trevino, are either completely inept or purposely tried to defraud my 19 year old daughter of over $4000 for fictitious repairs. Replace both bent struts and numerous expensive electronic reconfiguring! This made zero sense to someone using just a little common sense. Included in this scam service repair ticket, was an additional $2000 charge to replace the rear main seal on a 2021 Nissan Sentra! I was dumbfounded, when the Peltier service manager was telling me the manufacturer warranty would not cover this because my daughter most likely hit a curb and bent the struts (which turned out to be a lie) Yes you heard that right. My head was about to explode as I tried to reason with this insanity. Service manager Rob then says “to help me out” here’s what we will do. “don’t report this to your insurance, we will rewrite the service orders and just list the rear main seal as the issue and not mention the front steering damage. Nissan, will cover the warranty repair” he also states that we make more money from the Nissan warranty work than if it’s paid through insurance” Service manager Rob continues by saying, “after the warranty work is complete, we will then wright a new work order and address the steering issues, then you can notify your insurance company. The short version of this disgusting experience, I told Rob to do the warranty work and repair rear main seal so I wasn’t in the hook for $2000. I was leaving that day for a week. After several days they informed me the warranty work was complete and wanted to know how I’d like to handle the $4000 front end repairs. I told them I’d get back in a couple days and let them know. First thing that following Monday morning, I had a flat bed tow truck pick up my daughters car and bring to my shop in Tyler. I arranged for a 25 year ASE master tech mechanic to meet me and provide a second opinion on the car. It took 3 minutes laying on my shop floor to diagnose the problem! Bent lower right control arm and ball joint. NO bent struts! At this point I’m realizing Peltier was seriously attempting to defraud my daughter for thousands of dollars. Naturally my next thought was, I wonder if they did a single thing on the $2000 warranty claim? We very carefully removed the belly engine cover under car. To our astonishment and disgust, NOTHING had been touched, NOTHING. I left a message about my experience and scheduled a meeting with General Manager Brian Carter to share my concerns. I was calm but abviously frustrated about what I had experienced and my serious concern about the absolute proof I had of the fraudulent warranty work, not to mention the (at best) gross incompetence from service manager Rob and Anthony Trevino It was quickly apparent to me that he was nervous, agitated and defensive. The most revealing moment however, when I shared with him that I had documented with photos and video, proof of my claim against HIS service department, a serious accusation you would think any general manager would be extremely concerned about, he didn’t even want to look at anything, he refused to look at a single photo or video. For nearly two weeks I called Nissan corporate warranty fraud department in Nashville. They finally returned my call, took my information and said they would investigate Peltier Nissan, but would not share any of the findings with me. Buyer be ware, I could not more strongly suggest you avoid Peltier Nissan in Tyler. If you have had a similar experience and did nothing because it seemed impossible to make a difference, please contact me and share your story to: complaint@pelteirfraud.net Together we can hold companies like this accountable. I called and asked for the parts department. Got ahold of someone and asked if they price match to their website. He asked what was it a part or vehicle and I said it was a part and explained how my husband someone and asked if they price match to their website. He asked what was it a part or vehicle and I said it was a part and explained how my husband went their to get a part that is $95.92 on the website but $180 in store. He than told me that he brought the price down from $180 to $150 but I just think it’s ridiculous since the online price is $95.92. Wish I would of got the name but he was very rude over the phone. Don't believe everything a Car Dealership or Salesperson say We have owned several vehicles purchased at Peltier Nissan in Tyler, Tx. Our last one was a 2016 Altima. We were talked into a Lease on this vehicle. We have owned several vehicles purchased at Peltier Nissan in Tyler, Tx. Our last one was a 2016 Altima. We were talked into a Lease on this vehicle. BAD MOVE!!! However, we trusted our salesperson, Rob Adkinson, but come to find out he is just another car salesperson. I'm sure you know what I mean!! At the signing of this lease, we were NEVER told of a "Lease Termination Fee", Maximum miles allowable, an Inspection of the vehicle......NOTHING!! Also, at the signing of this lease we purchased one of the high end maintenance programs. You know Oil, Filter, Tire Rotation, Tire/wheel repair/replacement, paint chips/small dings, etc. Multiple times we took our car in for routine maintenance and requested the tires be rotated. THE ROTATION NEVER HAPPENED... This was even acknowledged by the GM. Bottom line we did NOT get what we paid for on this maintenance program. We had the Inspection done, however, again we were never told of this. We learned from a letter received from Nissan. So now we are at the end of our Lease and we had a cracked windshield. WE HAD THAT WINDSHIELD REPLACED THE DAY BEFORE WE RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO PLETIER NISSAN. We were told by both the salesperson and the GM the day we returned the vehicle (and windshield was replaced) that we owed nothing as a result of the End of Lease Liabilities. Now we received a letter from Nissan stating we owed $ 662.35 for Excess Mileage.....Excess wear......Lease Termination Fee. Excess Wear means Nissan wants us to pay $215.00 for THE cracked windshield we already replaced. This is nothing to do with a Lease or a Purchased. It's all about NOT believing everything you are told. Oh, one more thing.... Mitch in the Service Area is Extremely Great to work with. When Mitch was not available we used another Service Writer and on numerous occasions things were added to our work order request that we DID NOT request, I guess so the Dealership could be reimbursed for things that were not requested and most likely not performed. Kinda like the Tire Rotations!! I am sorry it has come down to this and I am sure some will be upset at my review. But, you know sometimes the truth without all the sugar coating needs to be revealed to open eyes. Will be the LAST Nissan or at least from this Dealership for us. Ridiculously Exoensive and proud of it! Brought my Rogue in for service. They quoted a MASSIVE job amount, but we needed the car fixed so told them to go ahead with the work. After calling o Brought my Rogue in for service. They quoted a MASSIVE job amount, but we needed the car fixed so told them to go ahead with the work. After calling other businesses throughout the day we find out that their price is DOUBLE most other places, including OTHER NISSAN DEALERSHIPS! When we went to ask them why it’s double the price, we were told by a manager that “Peltier doesn’t compete with anyone in Tyler. All of our dealerships are like that.” Not only that, but they INCREASED our bill and never told us. Now we owe them even more without ever being told the price was going to go up even more than double everyone else we called. Do yourself a favor and bring your vehicle ANYWHERE ELSE to get serviced. They intentionally charge 200% markups on their parts over other Nissan dealerships just because they can. They charge $200 per hour for labor, and tack on hours of labor for work that should take minutes. They charged me 1 hour of labor at $200 for changing out 4 spark plugs. Email me if you want and I’ll send you a copy of the invoice so you can see for yourself. More
