Radio problem under warranty they won't fix I have a 2016 outback that suddenly wouldn't get any siriusxm except what was saved to presets. Talked to siriusxm 5 times reset radio eventually the I have a 2016 outback that suddenly wouldn't get any siriusxm except what was saved to presets. Talked to siriusxm 5 times reset radio eventually they tell me it's a Subaru software problem. Go get an update. Did that, no change. Took it back a month later and they played with it for over an hour then tell me it's the head unit. Tell me 7 to 10 days to replace, ordering the unit. After 3 calls and 3 or 4 weeks later they call me and inform me that it is in. I schedule an appointment for 8am the next day take the car in. Tell me it's going to be about an hour. I go to the waiting room and about 20 minutes later the scheduler comes out to tell me Subaru stopped all replacements and my unit is being sent back. Subaru says it's going to release an update in December that will fix everything. Meanwhile I haven't been able to use the siriusxm that I paid for for about 7 months. Really horrible customer service. Wouldn't buy another Subaru if this is what you go through every time something under warranty breaks. The only person that was forthright was Cory Fox. He told me what was going on when he found out and felt bad about it. More

Individually, the service writer was exceptional in that to him my comfort was necessary while I was waiting for the service to my vehicle to be completed. Good Experience, but come prepared! The first time I went in to just look on the Jeep Moor side, I worked and met with Brian. I went in to look at a used car and he was great. No pres The first time I went in to just look on the Jeep Moor side, I worked and met with Brian. I went in to look at a used car and he was great. No pressure and very helpful. I left to go look at other cars and came back because he treated me so well I wanted to purchase from him. The second day was bad when I came back. I was working with Brian to come to an agreement on a used vehicle but we couldn't come to an agreement. Then one of the managers comes over Spencer Fredlund to suggest some awful ideas. For example, the car I was thinking about was a two door car but wasn't sure if it was right for us and maybe a four door was best because we wanted children in the next year. His idiotic recommendation, just buy the car and sell it when we have kids. He was very pushy and suggested things we didn't need. Long story short, left with a deal that wasn't in my favor and what I needed. I leased, when I should have bought because I listened to all the pros of leasing and they forgot to mention the cons. I bare the responsibility since I shouldn't have agreed to it and should have done research on leasing beforehand. George Tellez of the finance department sucked as well. Very pushy and if you weren't interested in a warranty he would just make you feel like an idiot if you didn't want it. I understand he's trying to sell and make money but shouldn't be at the cost of making a consumer feel like crap. He asked me to come in and re-sign the contract as there was an error, I was about to cancel the whole thing after the terrible experience. But what changed everything was Subaru manager Anthony Bejar. Who was awesome, he listened to my displeasure's/complaints and he fixed everything for me. Got a great deal and left with an awesome car. He stepped in and made sure everything was to my liking! He was awesome! Luigi Biano was also awesome, showed me the in and outs of my car. And called me to ensure that everything was cool and gave me his info in case I ever have an questions in regards to my car. Which is awesome and great customer service. So even though my experience was terrible halfway through the process it turned out great because of Anthony, Brian, and Luigi. If it weren't for them it would be a zero star review. So come prepared, know what you want, do research, and if its too good to be true, probably is. Deal with the good people of Peoria Subaru, like Brian and Anthony and you'll have a wonderful experience. More
