I would concider going back and even recommend this dealership. More

After searching the web, I sent an e-mail to the dealership and received a call-back from Dustin Warner at Performance Ford in Bountiful, Utah. Dustin’s phone manner is excellent and he guided us through their inventory by phone and the web, finally narrowing to two commercial vans on their lot which would likely fit our needs. A few days later, we arrived early for our test drive and did not have to wait -at all- because Dustin was already prepared. From start to finish, he impressed us greatly and I’d recommend him to anyone. Look – we all know that car buying can be stressful. However, the staff at Performance Ford were all quite helpful and Dustin was in constant motion, easing us through their process. At one point, due to my confusion over the status of our trade-in, I became convinced that the deal simply could not be made. However, Dustin coordinated with other staff & management, found a good solution the result of which was that we went away happy with the sale! I might add that Dustin is an enjoyable person to talk with, knowledgeable of his inventory and is obviously a very ethical and pleasant person. I am certain that there were high dollar sales he could have chosen rather than our interest in a used utility van for family camping. Service Department Inefficient I dropped off my 2014 Lincoln MKZ on Saturday morning at 8:45 for a SCHEDULED appointment to have my oil changed, replace 3 bolts on the power steeri I dropped off my 2014 Lincoln MKZ on Saturday morning at 8:45 for a SCHEDULED appointment to have my oil changed, replace 3 bolts on the power steering, and for a software update and it took 5 hours! The guys at the service department desk told me when I made the appointment that it would be between 2-3 hours. After 3 hours and no call from the dealership about the process of the repairs I went back to the dealership to find out what was going on! My car was parked in the area for pick up so I thought it was ready. Come to find out only the oil change had been done...in 3 hours!!! The same guy at the service desk who was just bs-ing with a tech when I walked up to him said that he would have it pulled in so the software updates could be installed and the bolts replaced. He said the bolts would be only 20 minutes to replace. So I asked him if I should wait he said he would call me when it was ready. I was back a hour later and he said they were just starting the software update!! He goes on to tell me that he had 2 techs call in sick today. To me this is unprofessional, for one to let me know this and for two to make it my problem. I had to drive 30 minutes from Ogden to Bountiful for this repair, a call to ask me to reschedule or that all repairs couldn't be done....something! Also because Performance didn't have a loaner car (again...they never ever have one) I had to rent a Dodge 1500 Pickup because all other vehicles had already been rented for the weekend, so driving this truck back and forth to Ogden was ridiculous! I'm not familiar with the Bountiful area so this too was ridiculous trying to find something to do for 5 hours!! I will not return to this dealership for any future repairs or oil changes. I purchased my car from this dealership and that too was a joke!! Again, they are unprofessional and no sense of urgency. Horrible customer service I would never recommend them for anything!! More

Poor Service Purchased a new Ford F150 XLT with extras. Left the truck for 4 days to have the bed cover installed and was notified it was ready to pickup. When my wife arrived, the bed cover had not been installed and there was a scratch along the well well. Seems like no one knew about the scratch or the bed cover, although we paid $1,000 for it. Now we have to bring the truck back and leaved it again. Not sure why in 4 days they could not install the cover, which should take less than an hour. I really don;t believe they cared after they got our money. Very poor service. Any future customers should beware. We wish we had purchased the truck from another dealer as we don't trust Performance Ford. More

They said I needed a new compressor and failed the inspection, citing leaks in my exhaust system. Said the leaks couldn't be repaired and that I must replace my exhaust to the tune of $900. This didn't ring true with me so I took it to the Davis County DMV shop and they said there were NO leaks in the exhaust and passed me immediately. Suspecting foul play with the A/C I took it to a local shop in Farmington. They ran diagnostics and found all I needed was a $75 part (dryer) replaced and the compressor was perfectly fine. Performance Ford quoted $1300 for a new compressor! Needless to say ever since Performance took over Willey Ford it has gone downhill. They are shady shady shady and cannot be trusted. I will be reporting this to the BBB as well. More
