Awesome purchase!! I was in contact with Eric T and told him what I was looking for. When I came into the dealership he had a new Civic pulled up front and took it throu I was in contact with Eric T and told him what I was looking for. When I came into the dealership he had a new Civic pulled up front and took it through the car wash, so it was nice clean when I got there. Total lack of respect for my time. I was in several times to look at the vehicle I purchased and Brock, who was my sales person and was always very friendly and personable. The rest of I was in several times to look at the vehicle I purchased and Brock, who was my sales person and was always very friendly and personable. The rest of the staff leaves much to be desired. The sales manager tried to get me to sign a form that released them any liability stemming from two active recalls they were aware of and never addressed while it was within the Performance group for six months. We arrived with preapproved financing but waited forty minutes for Sean Gruber to finally call us to his office only to let us know he found the exact rate we already locked in before we arrived at the dealer. My wife finally asked how much the monthly payment would be with our down payment, something he never bothered to ask us. He then went to the sales manager and miraculously found us a slightly better rate, but only after sitting in his office for thirty minutes. When I chose to use the preapproved rate that was slightly higher he was very annoyed and in fact never even shook our hands after the paperwork was final. There is absolutely no reason to spend an hour and a half in a dealer after you have agreed on the price. My time is valuable and so is every other customers. I have made a point to share with friends and family my experience at this dealership and hopefully, those informed steer clear from Performance Honda in Fairfield. More
