Perkins Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM

ONLY good experience I had in Colorado Springs A BAD WEEK OF TRUCK SHOPPING... I went to Mike Maroone Chevrolet, Chapel Hills Ford, Ferguson Buick GMC, City Auto Plaza Dodge, Colorado Springs Dodg A BAD WEEK OF TRUCK SHOPPING... I went to Mike Maroone Chevrolet, Chapel Hills Ford, Ferguson Buick GMC, City Auto Plaza Dodge, Colorado Springs Dodge, and called several in Denver, to shop for my new truck. I was looking for a speciality truck (Dodge EcoDiesel) and/or an equivalent. Though I met several cooperative and nice/normal folks at the other dealers, my EASIEST experience was at Perkins Motors. I was already pre-approved, had the clean title to my trade-in in my hand, and had a couple thousand to put down if need be. You would think any sales person and their "manager" would forgo the stupid manipulation games, but the other dealerships didn't. All of them were about THEM. It was the last week of the month and everyone was looking to get their sales numbers up and vehicles off their lots but none of the other dealerships' sales people actually listened to me or seemed to want to do anything put upsell me. PERKINS MOTORS WAS GREAT!... On a frustrated whim, I stopped down at Perkins, the only Dodge dealer I hadn't gone to yet. It was 8:15 pm and the dealership closed at 8:30. I met my salesman David Johnson, Josh Bauer (Manager on Duty), and Heidi (Finance). David listened to what I wanted, how much I needed for my trade, and then found me three trucks that might have worked. He gave me the details, told me what he thought they could do reasonably (and it wasn't far-fetched), and then worked the numbers with Josh. Josh felt honest to me, spoke candidly with me, and then ASKED me if he could try to make a better finance option for me. Neither David or Josh had the manipulative feel of the other cars salespeople and managers I'd met throughout the week prior. They didn't insult me nor try to twist me. They were really great about my trade-in, the truck price, the numbers, and the deal. I got what I wanted for my trade, I got a really good price on the 2018 Nissan Titan XD Pro4x Cummins turbo diesel I bought, and I wasn't even considering a Nissan diesel! But, I love this truck already! So comfortable, awesome options and capabilities. David helped me find the truck that actually had everything I wanted, and then he helped me get it respectfully, courteously, and professionally. The same goes for Josh and Heidi. The final thing I appreciated, is that they all stayed until 10:30 pm in order to get it done for me. They didn't tell me to come back the next day except for the courtesy detailing and full tank of diesel they said they owed me as their customer. I came back the next day, those things were done as promised, and I am happy. I know this is a long review for a "car dealership", and we all have different experiences, however, I went through so many negative experiences with so many other dealerships during the week, that I believe David, Josh, and Heidi deserve good accolades. Audrey was awesome at letting us drive both the Rubicon and Sahara with all the options we wanted. We were leaning towards the Sahara but after she went over the differences, we decided that the Rubicon was the best way to go for what we wanted. She went over all the options in detail before we even left for the test drive and was very patient with all my questions. She wasn't pushy at all, was seriously the best to deal with and was super friendly and helpful, the easiest and least stressful experience I've ever had at a car dealership. We ended up having to order one because the color we wanted wasn’t available with all the options, and she was very informative about that process also. She got us an amazing deal on the Jeep, and we even ended up getting it in about 1/2 the time we thought we would! She was very communicative throughout the process also, we heard from her multiple times throughout the entire process, and after picking up the vehicle. Audrey is overall a great salesperson, she's very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and not your "typical" salesperson. Would highly recommend her! More

Buy a vehicle with Jacques! I went in to look at vehicles knowing what I liked and Jacques did not try to force me into anything. Since then Steve has been our go to guy for the next 4 vehicles we have purchased. Steve took the time to help us find what we were looking for within our budget.
