That was years ago. Recently, we went through the emissions recall process which we weren't initially looking forward to. However, all of the online correspondence and set up was impeccable. They kept in touch with us and clearly communicated every step. When we brought our car in for the emissions install, the entire staff couldn't have been nicer - Mike Kern, Cory and we don't recall the short red-headed guy's name, but him too! (Hope we haven't left out anyone.) As if that wasn't good enough, Mark also reached out to offer any assistance we needed through the emissions install process. We love our VW and we will tell everyone about the fantastic, professional experience we have had with this dealership. Keep up the good work! We will be back! More
Non existant warranty Took my new Passat SEL in for warranty repairs. I was treated like I had never driven a car before and none of the issues were repaired. I then contacted VW who also said the flaws in the car were unrepairable and essentially I was stuck with a $32K car with flaws and I had no options other than to repair it myself at my own expense. Bottom line-there is no bumper to bumper warranty on VW either from dealer or company. More

I went back because I knew what I wanted and a friend refered me to a particular salesman and he was great, Mike. Had a problem with a speaker right from the go, and this was a brand new Outlander. It had 1 recall after I had it for 4 months and I mentioned the speaker. It was confirmed that I needed a new one. A month went by when I scheduled my first oil change and I mentioned the speaker...'Oh, yeah we've had it here for a month'. Nobody called to update me. This was totally unprofessional and I made it known while I scheduled the oil change AND the speaker replacement. As I check my car in, service guy looks at me and said, so you won't be waiting. ......what???? 'It says you're dropping the vehicle off'. No, I'm not, I never said that, where am I suppose to go! I asked him if they even communicate around here....no answer. I ask if he has a ballpark time of service, nope. This is unbelievable....and I was actually going to go across the street to Pete Moore Chevrolet and trade the Outlander for a truck......not at that Dealership, they've shown their colors now! More
Service took 3 hours longer then promised. Drove 2 cars for 1 hour to get airbag safety recall issue repaired. Made appt at 10:00 am, promised to be ready at noon. Was told tech taking it for test drive after oil change & would call me back. No call back so drove to dealership at 1:30 & was told they hadn't started on the recall issue & it would be another 2 hours. Asked for manager who apologized & said it should have been done but he didn't know why not. I asked for & got the oil change free & told it would be ready by 3 :00 pm. They obviously are overbooking. Very disappointed at such poor customer service. More

With all the issues of the TDI emissions, we could consider other brands, but if we dealt with a different dealer, we would not have Rich to work with, so he (along with Mike Kern) is keeping us as a customer of Pete Moore Volkswagen. I had a Such a good experience! I purchased my VW in Texas (AutoTrader), and I I live equidistant from Pete Moore VW and the VW dealership in Mobile. I had a small problem that could be repaired quickly by a technician. I was going to be in Mobile on this particular day, so I called the VW dealership there. They were booked solid and said I would need to make an appointment for the next week. So I called Pete Moore VW and talked to Brian Macquire. He didn't say they would fix my problem, but invited me to drop by and someone would at least look at the problem. After my business in Mobile, I drove to Pensacola, and I was greeted by Rich Lord at the VW dealer. He immediately came out, looked at my car, and he was able to fix the problem himself. But as he was getting information about myself and my car, he noted it was due for the 30,000 mile maintenance, which to my surprise was covered under the original warranty-- and he said they could do it right then. And they did! So wow! The difference is this: All auto dealers know how to service cars, but not all know how to service customers. I really felt like they cared about me, and wanted my business. Pete Moore VW will be handling all the service on my VW. More
