Had appointment for third, 5 year lifetime warranty inspection on my ‘08 Ram. Dodge service dept filled out form (hand written), and then told me I owed $160.00+ for the inspection. The “new” service person that filled out the form had checked with a senior service person, on the Toyota side and she was the one who said I owed the $160.00+ charge. I went and talked to her on the Toyota side and she said the charge was correct. I told her I had never been charged for the warranty inspection before. She talked with someone on the phone and said I was right and there was not a charge for that type of inspection. She said the hand written form would not be honored, so she printed out a new form for me. I left thinking everything was settled. I drove to the grocery store to shop but, before I went in I checked the form closer and found it had been dated 1-11-23, instead of the correct date of 1-11-24! I realize this was a honest mistake but, I had to return to have it corrected, since I knew this could cause a problem. This time I was directed back to the Dodge side and a new inspection form was printed by a different employee. I bought my Ram new, at Crown in Fayetteville. After about a year I started bringing it to Peterson, for service, since I live here. I bring it in every 3,000 miles for oil & filter change or any service that is due. After this experience, which shouldn’t have taken over 15 minutes, I may start taking it back to Crown for service. More

My appt was to be for a repair. They had me down for an oil change when I specifically told them no oil change until the oil leak was fixed.
