Bought a new car from these guys and the salesman and sales manager lied to me about the price of my trade in vehicle. I used the service department for all work done on my vehicle after I bought it and after three years I have caught them numerous times lying to me. They will not always do the work you asked them to so you have to double check everything. Making an appointment appears to get you worse service than if you just walk in off the street so the assumption that an appointment will have them ready to work on your vehicle is wrong. They will tell you things need to be replaced and are totally worn out but if you check with another dealer or shop they will tell you those things are not even near half of the life or wear of the item. Bottom line is these guys are crooks and there are many other honest dealers in the valley. This was the first and last car I will ever buy from these guys. I have not seen a dealer in this valley do business this way since the 1960's. Unless you like getting ripped off avoid all Peterson dealerships. More
Bought a brand new vehicle a couple years ago from these guys only because they were the only local dealer with the model and color I wanted. I have had all my service work done there and after 3 years I am ready to give my evaluation of this dealership. Sales dept is stuck in the 60's and will take advantage of you. You can get a much better deal from one of the other local Toyota dealers who will give you a fair trade in value and not screw you on pricing. These guys will take you for as much as they can. In the last three years I have caught the service department lying to me on more than one occasion and telling me I needed new parts on things that second sources say did not need to be replaced for another 20 to 30 thousand miles. You also have to double check to make sure they do the work you ask them to as I have caught them more than once not doing what I asked for. At this point I have no way of knowing if they are actually performing any of the service or checks their paper works claims was done. Bottom line is you never know if they are telling you the truth or lying to you so you cannot trust this company. I would highly recommend avoiding this dealership. There are many other dealers in the area that are honest and will give you a much better deal. More
