Buying my new car was an easy, low stress experience I haven't purchased a car in 13 years. Troy made the experience very easy. He did a great job of showing me how all the "bells and whistles" work. Great Experience!!! Bought used car with peace of mind. I have come to Boise from London, UK for a period of 1 year. With the transportation facilities available in Boise, I realized the need of car in Bois I have come to Boise from London, UK for a period of 1 year. With the transportation facilities available in Boise, I realized the need of car in Boise. So I decided to go for a used car which would suit for my needs as I am here only for a year. I got suggestions from my colleagues to buy used car from local car sales dealer instead of going to full pledged dealer like Peterson Toyota Boise mainly for price would be cheaper from local car sales. I spent few hours comparing the prices from used car inventory of both Peterson Toyota and local car dealers. I found that the prices mentioned by Peterson Toyota are slight over the KBB value whereas local car dealers have mentioned upto 2k over the KBB value.I also heard that you can bargain with the local car dealer to reduce it according to KBB value. It all depends on your way of talking with the local car dealer, which I didn't like... I decided to go with well known, reputed dealer like Peterson Toyota Boise, give it a try and then decide where to buy. I met lady at the reception and she introduced me to a sales person named Lee Hawkins. Conversation started with very basic questions such as new or used car, type of car sedan or suv, price range. After all that, he took me to look at around 5 cars based on my price range and test driven 1 which was OK to me. Compared the prices with the KBB value (thanks to kbb app) and found that the listed price was couple of hundreds above KBB value + taxes (state tax, doc fee). In short it was 1100-1200 dollars over to the KBB value. Lee Hawkins - he is a nice person, kept it to the point most of the discussion, mentioned about the benefits of buying from Peterson Toyota than that of local car dealer, such as 90 day warrantee for used cars with mileage below 100K, and all of the used cars are completely tested. For the car which I was interested, found that they updated new tyres and negotiated the price. As I have mentioned that I will make the deal and was not just checking the prices , Lee came up with final price which is best possible for them after checking with his manager ( I guess) and confirmed he could not make any further deduction even in cents. I found that the final move out price (car price + taxes + document fee) which was offered to me was 600$ less than that of the KBB car value. I was happy with the quote and bought the 2007 Toyota Prius which was 1 owner vehicle. I have been using the car for about a week now, driven around 150miles and didn't had any issues. I know it is very early to comment on car condition with just 1 week's usage, however I am at peace of mind that the company like Peterson Toyota Boise will only sell cars which are at very good condition. Thanks to Lee Hawkins for the deal. Credit goes to him. By the way he talks, you see the difference and easily understand how experienced he is and completed the deal. Lastly, it took 5 days to get the auto loan and the car which we agreed was still tagged to me and was not shown or sold to other person even though there was delay from the credit union bank guys for the loan amount and Peterson Toyota Boise team have not taken any holding deposit from me. This shows the good service they provide.. I strongly recommend to buy used cars from Peterson Toyota than from the local dealers and have peace of mind. More

New Prius V purchase We've never bought a car from Peterson before, though we've looked there many times. Usually we stopped before we got too far because of price. But We've never bought a car from Peterson before, though we've looked there many times. Usually we stopped before we got too far because of price. But this time I did a lot of research and was really impressed with their offer and salespeople. They weren't pushy at all, which we LOVED. They just let me know what offers they had, and then 2 days later called back with an even better deal. Gerry Hill and Neils in Finance were AWWWESOME. The 3-4 emails a week since then asking for feedback is a little annoying, but I can deal with that. More

Once I pointed out a few facts of the vehicle such as missing factory interior trim, under the seats were not vacuumed, and broken shocks the salesman stopped his normal pitch saying they would negotiate the price. However, once my credit was pulled and he asked me to sign an offer all deals were off. Sales manager came out and said take it or leave it. More
