I always look forward to seeing Joanna! ! She is very professional and personable. Even my salesperson was not as personable as her and he got paid commission. He has not once followed up ! My review this time is no reflection of her service and care. She did everything possible to assist me as always! I custom ordered my 2022 Honda Sport and have taken immaculate care of it since the purchase. I did my research and have seen personal testimonies on the durability of a Honda. That is why I chose a Honda. I do not mind paying for a quality product and service at this time in my life. Unfortunately I was highly disappointed on my last service visit. The service director at Phil Hughes turned down Joanna’s request to do something about an ongoing, embarrassing brake noise that occurs when backing up. In the beginning it was just when I washed the car and drove it after or if it was raining. Now it is more often and not when it is wet out. This is very embarrassing and not what I expected from choosing a Honda. The service techs confirmed my brakes are mechanically safe, the noise is supposedly caused by build up of dirt or other elements although I keep my car clean! The service director, Bret Marvin, did not speak to me afterwards after turning down Joanna’s request either. He even walked past me several times, acknowledging me. While I was checking out with Joanna, he was up front right behind me and did not say one word while Joanna was so embarrassed and overly apologetic that her hands were tied. From what I understand, the reasoning is if they did what was needed to stop the noise and not charge me, the dealership would not get refunded by Honda corporate so basically the dealership would be absorbing the cost. I was provided the number to contact Hondas corporate office and fight the battle of getting repairs done on brakes at no cost to me instead of the dealership backing a cash purchase made with them. These are the original factory brakes that were on the vehicle when I purchased the car and it’s not a noise that I caused by misuse. I will be contacting Hondas corporate office. I am extremely disappointed. More
