The moment we got to the lot we were greeted & the fellow at that time (forgive I don't remember his name) notified Mr Riviera that we had arrived. Mr Riviera came right out, introduced himself & went over the criteria we submitted for the vehicle we desired. He took us straight over to this beautiful beast sitting up front of lot. This truck was something, I admit, was very far fetched and couldn't possibly pull out of here in it. I WAS SO WRONG! The price of the truck was a few thousand below KBB. We were searching the market for a f350 & weren't having much luck. My wife decided to go here. After a test drive, once again far fetched, we went to see what it would take to get us in. Mr Riviera was patient & impressively found a way! We drove off that day in a bigger, better truck than we ever believed! More than we bargained for! Mr Riviera at no point was pushy or irritating. We found him to be very personable & professional. He definitely made our day & many more to come. If you're shopping around for another vehicle, I would recommend stopping by to see Mr Riviera. All employees were helpful, however it took five hours to complete my transaction which deterred from good service. I have no idea why or where the delay occured. Upon finalizing the transaction I was given a thumb drive that showed all the documents I signed, however the last 6 documents would not print completely. I will need to obtain these copies from the dealership. More

Took Two Attempts Phil Long Ford at Motor City has some excellent people in sales, finance, and management. The key word here is "some". On my first experience there I Phil Long Ford at Motor City has some excellent people in sales, finance, and management. The key word here is "some". On my first experience there I met with unknowledgeable salesmen and staff who could not answer nor listen to my questions and ideas. I did get to drive a variety of cars and that was the only part of the experience that went well. However, on a second trip there I worked with entirely different team from the salesmen all the way to upper management. I experienced great service, had all of my questions answered and ideas considered. The second team was well prepared and met all of my expectations without issue. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 here is the inconsistency. If all of the employees were as professional as those I worked with on the second trip Phil Long Ford at Motor City would earn full marks without question. I hope they can manage to improve their training--perhaps have new/staff in training work in tandem with an experienced/cooperating employee in an apprenticeship role-- and customer consistency for the future.
