Thanks for Taking Care of Me! I had to drive 6 hours to the Springs from Durango to purchase a 4 wheel drive due to an unfortunate accident that totaled my vehicle. Neal Wells was my Sales Representative. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and accommodating. Neal knew of a perfect fit for me based on my circumstances and needs. He was patient and thorough when explaining features and details about my vehicle purchase and helped me navigate through the process. He went above and beyond in making sure I was taken care of! I was disappointed that the vehicle didn't have a user manual because I'm the type of person that needs to know everything about the intricacies of what I own :) but Neal will be locating one and sending it to me. Overcoming Doubt with an Exception Experience I am not naturally a suspicious person but once you get burned by a different dealership then all dealerships are dealt with distrust. My experience with Phil Long’s staff, specifically Kyle Whitten, broke through that distrust with exceptional customer service. Our vehicle was totaled in a car accident so I started checking on-line with different dealers throughout Denver and Colorado Spring’s Websites looking for a good deal. I left my information with multiple sites knowing that once insurance finished with the vehicle we would need a car immediately. I did thorough research on-line first to be ready for any misleading. Kyle immediately responded (after several days I still had not heard from all the dealers that I had requested information) with very helpful information to my inquiries while not being pushy at all. Everything he told me was in line with information that I was finding on my own. After several beneficial emails we settle on a couple of different options and made an appointment with the dealership. Kyle works in tandem with Tom Griffin with store appointments due to the fact that he has been in multiple car accidents himself and has a difficult speech impairment from it. Kyle though was always right there taking great notes and using pen and paper with any questions or answers that he could provide. I believe Kyle’s speech difficulties gives him immense patience with customers and specifically my detailed questions. Never did I get an answer that did not fall right in line with my independent research even if the answer was not necessarily putting the car that I wanted in the best light. Honesty, always seemed like top priority and if Kyle didn’t have the answer then he would get it. From start to finish Phil Long treated my wife, son and I with the utmost dignity and respect and once they found out about our accident they put off business to see how everyone was and then bring it back up in later appointments to see if health was continuing to improve. Even Dan Chumley, finance, was able to get a better interest rate than my bank. The experience was awesome and has given me belief in the car buying system again. I would happily recommend Kyle Whitten, Tom Griffin and the entire staff at Phil Long. More

He keep me informed and at the end of the day this is my new dealership. Way to go... More

Phil Long should realize how fortunate they are to have Dawn as a long time employee. I was in the market for an economical vehicle that was stylish and MPG friendly. I was looking at a few different dealerships, and different vehicles. My family and I have had some very difficult financial problems in the past so I was not getting my hopes up on a new car. That all changed after working with Erick H. and Jesi V. at the Ford dealership. They were not only able to get me approved for a brand new car, but Dave in financing was able to get me a ridiculously good loan and low APR along with it!! They made sure that I was not going to be way over my head with a loan that would get me in trouble. They were not trying to just sell me a vehicle, they showed that they really cared about me as a customer. They made sure the vehicle was what I wanted and was within my budget. Most car dealers with just let you put yourself in over your head if they are able to get a sale, not here! These people know how to take care of you and your family's needs. It was such a good experience that I wrote my first ever internet review. I would HIGHLY recommend this business to anyone in search of a vehicle right now. Go to Phil Long Ford First!!
