I hate buying cars from car dealers - but - if the dealer has the car I want then I have no choice. If there is one dealer that has made the car buying experience fairly painless it is Phil Meador Toyota in Pocatello and salesman Ed Samora. I have purchased two cars in the last 60 days from Ed. In both cases Ed worked hard to put the deal together to my satisfaction. Ed is not the pushy salesman type. Ed actually listens to what the customer is saying, addresses concerns and goes the extra mile to deliver a fair deal. Ed is knowledgable about the cars he sells and makes every effort to be professional and courteous to his customers. Thanks Ed! More

I had a very interesting experience with Phil Meador Toyota. The salesman that I dealt with was Dustin Roberts. Dustin was great! He was down to earth, knowledgeable about the vehicles, and got the Toyota. The salesman that I dealt with was Dustin Roberts. Dustin was great! He was down to earth, knowledgeable about the vehicles, and got the job done without being pushy or making me feel uncomfortable. Looking for and purchasing a car can be somewhat of a stressful situation and it is his type of honesty and attitude that really makes me feel confident in my purchase. I know that Dustin is newer to his position with Phil Meador and during our negotiation a more senior salesman, Brandon, stepped in to "help" with the sale. Brandon possesses the exact qualities that make buying a car so stressful. He was rude, argumentative, and very aggressive. During the time he sat down with us I felt that I was being scolded or reprimanded as if in a principal's office. During our discussion he brought up that by asking for more on our trade in we were "stealing food off his families table". As a Mom, I found this comment offensive and over the line. These types of combative tactics do not work and did nothing but upset our family and as repeat customers we expected to be treated better. However, Dustin and service manager Jack did a great job of contacting us to apologize and work out a fair deal. I really appreciate Dustin and think he is a great person and salesman! I will definitely work with him again and recommend my friends and family to him. I think that people like Dustin need to be rewarded for being professional and not pushy. More

I had done price comparisons with dealers as far as 300 miles and Phil Meador was actually the last and best to deal with. Its easy and they offer as good if not better prices than any dealer in Idaho, Montana or Utah. The hassle is removed, even during the signing process as there is no pressure sell for warranties, add-ons etc. More
I am writing on behalf of Kenny Gravis. I want to compliment Kenny on being a very personable, and knowledgeable salesperson. I am a very "picky" customer that is specific of what I want. As of now, I've yet to find it or have changed my mind so many times that we are still waiting for the right time to buy. I have my choice narrowed down and while I am still waiting to give Kenny the "go" on it, he is been very supportive of my choices and has been more than happy to help me with the process. The process has included everything from price comparisons (which I have done through western Idaho and Northern Utah) to finding exactly what I want in a vehicle. He comes highly recommended from me (I have recommended him a number of times). More
