Worst Dealer Ever! We have purchased several vehicles over the years at Pine Belt, but this last time was the worst and final experience. We decided to trade in a 2017 C We have purchased several vehicles over the years at Pine Belt, but this last time was the worst and final experience. We decided to trade in a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and lease a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. First off, I go to drive the Jeep off the lot and the gas light is on. I tell the salesman, he tells me go up to Exxon, fill it up, bring the receipt back and I’ll get a check. I didn’t bring receipt back right away, but I did a few days later. Still no $55 reimbursement for the gas and they can’t locate the receipt. Then there was a dent on the Jeep front quarter panel, part of the deal was that the dent was fixed. I made an appointment with service to have the dent fixed. I go to drop it off, the body shop didn’t know it was coming. My Jeep sat at Pine Belt for almost a week (thanks to UConnect I could see exactly where it was), until the body shop had an opening to fix it. When I went to pick up my Jeep I was approached by Ahmed Khandil, one of the salesmen, who wasn’t even involved in the deal. He said they lost my original power of attorney for that I needed to sign a new one. No big deal, stuff happens. I re-sign it. Now 2 weeks ago my husband gets a phone call that they misplaced my power of attorney AGAIN and they need me to re-sign it again. I refused because how do you lose secure documents not just once, but twice! They tried to bribe me with $100 check and pine belt bucks. Woo Hoo, Lucky me! I still refused. Then Ahmed Fayed starting texting my husband that they are going to hold us financially responsible for the money they gave us for the trade. Not sure how that would be possible since the trade is already paid off and I have written proof from the bank and the Pacifica is already sold since I know who bought it, but the threat was still put out there. I’ve tried emailing and calling Kenny Martin, VP, and Rob Sickel, Executive Manager, several times with absolutely no response! They don’t even have the decency to respond. Not once did ANYONE from Pine Belt reach out to me. They always called my husband and try and force me to go in. If you needed someone’s signature, wouldn’t you call them and not their spouse? Now today my husband gets a phone call that the power of attorney has mysteriously been found. I will be calling DMV next week to obtain a copy of the power of attorney to make sure my signature was not forged. Part of there slogan is treating you like family-if this is how they treat family, I can just imagine how’d they treat their enemies! More
