Worst customer service possible! My sales person (Dimitri) was good up until a few minutes before this review. I explained my needs and he got me into a car to test drive within minutes. The problems began during the negotiations for the price and with the sales manager SAL. I explained my logic for the price I was bringing to the table, but he would not listen and had his "Sales Numbers" on his agenda. Kept pushing for much different price than what I thought was fair and even at one point told me to leave since it looked like I did not need a car that day, but the fact was that I did else I would not have been there in the first place. the sales person did a good job with damage control and after almost 4 hours since arriving at Planet Honda I was able to reach a deal. Thought that was the worst of my issues that day but I was wrong. When I was taking delivery of the vehicle, the detailing department did a horrendous job of cleaning the car and when I found damages to the paint on the trunk lid and the roof. The person who detailed the car said "That will not come out and I will not do anything further". Of course I did not take possession of that car, and I requested a new one. SAL again came into the picture and was not much help. He sent it back to the detailing department and I waited an hour before they told me they could not do anything about it and if I wanted I can leave that car and come back another day for it or get a new one. I went with the new one and I figured since everything was already done it would be a matter of minutes to reprint the paperwork and sign. It took another 3 hours to swap the car and to take delivery. In total I spent 8 hours at Planet Honda. Since they saw my frustration and knew I would give a poor review Sal offered me accessories in order for me to give them a perfect review so that their numbers wont be tainted. Of course I did not give them the review they wanted and the sales person called me to let me know that I did not give them the review they wanted and was very unprofessional by telling me "you caused me my bonus, thank you very much". This was my second car at this dealer and it will be the last. To the CEO of Planet Honda, you really need to do something about Sal and the management team as this should not have happened to me or should happen to anyone else. More

No Nonsense Deal I got a no nonsense deal at Planet Honda on Route 22 in Union for new 2014 Honda Civic on October 25. I went there to test drive the car and confirm t I got a no nonsense deal at Planet Honda on Route 22 in Union for new 2014 Honda Civic on October 25. I went there to test drive the car and confirm their current offers and went home with the car the same day. I appreciate that he listened to me for what I wanted and not what he could sell. Also when I left the manual and valet key at the dealership, Ron Rajnai made sure I got them the next day. Oh did I forget to mention the complimentary lunch. More

5 hours to lease a car Price negotiations It took 5 hours to lease a car at planet honda . The price negotiations they kept on playing number games and raising the price of the lease.Finally i It took 5 hours to lease a car at planet honda . The price negotiations they kept on playing number games and raising the price of the lease.Finally i told them i was going to write what the were doing on a review then they stopped with the pricing.Then they send you to the finance guy in this small room and then he pressures you into adding more cost to the lease. He pressures us, we should add all extras. We were told when car returned after lease we would be charged for tire wear and nicks,etc. and very important to get return lease insurance for $400 dollars more over cost of lease ,only 40c more a day. The whole experience was uncomfortable and very expensive.Then the finance guy tells us about identity thief and how we can get flagged if you don't sign the papers correctly. Very uncomfortable experience and expensive.I do not recommend this dealer More

Signed up for prices on-line through USAA car buying service (military). Checked prices provided on-line for the area dealers provided by USAA (True Car). Planet Honda had the best price (vs. DCH & VIP Honda) plus in addition they emailed a $250 bonus discount for using USAA. On a dreary, rainy day we were warmly greeted at Planet Honda by the USAA rep plus Alex, their Internet rep. The sales room was packed with customers. Sales Consultant, Kaleem Wyne, assisted my wife & me through the details of the purchase. Any objections we had to add-ons that we did not want were taken care of more than satisfactorily. Finished the financial deal with Delio Coutinho who went through all the parts in detail. Even got to talk with him about his kids and baseball. Great experience again. We purchased a 2005 CRV there in the past. Kaleem was great to work with--big smile and great personality. We'll be back at PLANT HONDA for our next car. More
