I am a first-time buyer. Anthony Hartley is amazing. He worked very well with me and tried his very best (successfully) to meet my goals. I originally arrived with an approved loan; however, Anthony suggested a deal that was A LOT better! Brian, in the finance department, did an outstanding job relaying all of the finances and services Honda will provide me. And Sal Lanuto, the sales manager, was attentive, warm, and welcoming. I will absolutely come here again when I purchase my next vehicle.I would recommend them to all of my friends and relatives. I am so happy with my brand new Honda Civic Lx, I got a great deal! Everything this dealer said to us in his quote turned out to be a lie! We had to go back and forth from Newark,NJ to Union,NJ almost daily for the first 2 weeks to just solve paperwork issues. After that,we to be a lie! We had to go back and forth from Newark,NJ to Union,NJ almost daily for the first 2 weeks to just solve paperwork issues. After that,we were dealing with the credit department because they said that we didn't qualify for to get the car. But the dealership willingly took our money and told us on the first day( to sign a lot of papers so fast that we could not even read them!)that everything was fine...they gave us the keys to the car,a temporary registration for the car,a temporary plate for the car and told us to come pick up the real plates in a week or so.We were handed a booklet on all of the rights of a HONDA owner,and at that point we thought all was well and good,and there was closure. Then when we got home and finally read the paperwork,we realized that Levie Frank had put the car as a lease instead of a purchase,which is what we told him we wanted ,and why we put money down on the car in the first place! When we called back to get this fixed,they threw another problem at us so that we were kept running around to just get closure on a quote that Levie Frank had told us,but then would not answer his phone,and when we showed up to talk to him he left his desk,and we were ushered into a back office so "that we could handle the problem properly." So,now we have a car that we put money down on,that was never seen again or put down on the paperwork towards purchasing our car as we had expected and asked for from Mr.Levie Frank.Now they have us dealing with a Mr,Delio(whom I don't even know the full name of!) I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone I know or just met on the street. I feel robbed and lied to...to the extreme of these words! I feel feel there was no professionally done,or correctly done,or in a timely manner done! Now we continue to receive papers from HONDA saying that we are in default for whatever reason it is they pick that day!! And so ,I am constantly cleaning up the lies that these people are doing to us.And I need to clarify,"us",is a married couple with enough money to buy a car,but then the dealership wouldn't make any money,so we get the run around,instead of us being able to be at work!! We do have current insurance on this car since day 1!!!,and we have our permanent tags,and we even payed extra on our "plan" so that we were told we would be covered in almost ANY situation! This dod calm my nerves a bit,but still we are driving a leased car ,that at the end of 3 years all the money we have put into it,will be worth nothing......we will be told to choose another model and continue this contract insanity. I must say again...I feel lied to and robbed!! I have a lot more to say,but I doubt that this information will even bet to the people that it needs to...the ones that can make changes.But I can't help but try!! More
