Joe Riccobene was the most friendly, honest, and professional salesrep I have encountered. He immediately took us out for a test drive, and THOUROUGHLY explained every aspect of the viehicle, pro & con.
When we were satisfied with all the facts, he "made us an offer we couldn't refuse" and we bought the car instead of leasing it for 3 years.
Remember, we had no intention of BUYING when we walked into the dealership, only to lease. Granted, its hard to beat 0% financing over 2.99% lease, but it takes a skilled NON-PUSHY salesman to lay out the numbers tactfully, and make the customer feel smart with the decission they make.
We previously bought several Jettas from another dealer, whom we visited first. We were told there was no TDI available to drive, and we could get one, only if we put down a deposit sight unseen. Sound unreasonable? We thought so.
As for their service department, we don't know. We only own the viehicle for 1 month. Joe has assured us that we can contact him at any time regarding any problems which may arrise. Refreshing attitude.
