WHATEVER AD YOU SAW, ADD $10,000 MORE FOR NOTHING AND THEY KNOW YOU CAME FROM OUT OF TOWN TO BUY BECAUSE ALL OF THEIR USED CARS CAME FROM ILLEGALS WORKING THE ORANGE FIELDS OUT THERE. THEY DO SO MUCH ILLEGAL STUFF HERE!!! NONE OF THEM EVEN WEAR MASKS, AND TRY TO SHAKE YOUR HAND DESPITE YOU DEMONSTRATING YOU'RE NOT COMFORTABLE! COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR SENIOR CITENZENS WITH COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEMS WHICH WE ALREADY COMMUNICATED BEFORE COMING! I ASKED THEM TO PUT ON A MASK AND HE SAID HE DID NOT HAVE ONE. More
DO NOT BUY HERE! Drove an hour here after being told the financing had already been set up and all I had to do was show up and sign paperwork and drive away. Illegal practices, against the fair trade act te financing had already been set up and all I had to do was show up and sign paperwork and drive away. Illegal practices, against the fair trade act telling you that the "plattner package" fee of $3,000" is "mandatory and they cannot remove it" upon being told that is illegal to add on a fee like that outside the advertised price, the response was ," every dealership is doing it" and again I reminded him it's against the law, to which he said," everyone is doing it ". Buy elsewhere these are some shady car salesmen, and will hide scams inside the contract as well as ask for far more money than was advertised or agreed upon. They adverrise low prices on Kelly blue book however those prices are a lie. It's just so they show up at the top of the good deal list. More
The dealership and I agreed on a price of $38,800 on 10/16/21. I now had to apply for a loan with my bank. I gave the dealer $2000 non-refundable deposit. By the time I got the check from my bank and 10/16/21. I now had to apply for a loan with my bank. I gave the dealer $2000 non-refundable deposit. By the time I got the check from my bank and had a day off work it was 10/25/21. The dealer was aware this would be the pick up date for the vehicle. I was communicating with the dealer the entire week and there was no issues. When I gave the sales manager the check, they could see it was open check with a maximum amount of $45000. The agreed upon price was $38800. I owed $36800 after the deposit. After seeing I could afford more the sales manager told me the price had increased and they needed an additional $2000. I got a refund on my deposit and left. Buyer Beware: Arcadia Chevrolet lists their vehicles on the internet at low prices to get a good KBB rating. They will NOT discuss "out the door" price over the phone. They will add $3000 to $5000 in "dealer fees", that is basically scotch guard and paint sealer with no proof of application, to the price before adding taxes. I was told these $4999 of dealer services were non negotiable as they were already done. More
Isreal provided me with great services and helped me out a lot when I was looking for a new used car. Probably the easiest I've ever walked away with a car. Price was good too. Sleazy. Run. Away. Fast. They have a hidden dealer fee of $3000 that they do not disclose up front. They call it Plattner Automotive Value Package $2999. It is some sort of "exterior and interior protection" $3000 that they do not disclose up front. They call it Plattner Automotive Value Package $2999. It is some sort of "exterior and interior protection" treatment that is not optional. You don't see it until you start the purchase paperwork. What an xxxxx waste of time. A new spin on the old bait-and-switch. These guys are low-life xxxxxxxx. the epitome of sleazy car salesman. More
We were in the market for an inexpensive spare vehicle under $15K. We located a 2016 Chevy Impala LTZ stock # 5134525 listed on AutoTrader for $8,753.00. I called to inquire and was informed that in add under $15K. We located a 2016 Chevy Impala LTZ stock # 5134525 listed on AutoTrader for $8,753.00. I called to inquire and was informed that in addition to the base price, there is a $2,999 "Platter Automotive Value Pack" along with the other necessary fees (tags, taxes, etc.) bringing the total to $14,402. I said no thanks and pointed out their improper way of advertising. We made a list of vehicles to see the next day and as we were leaving the first dealership, we received a call from Plattner's. Note, I DID NOT call them, they called me. Josh informed me that we could be "out the door" for $14, 402 and after researching other vehicles, this was a very reasonable price for the vehicle. I indicated that I was interested and informed Josh that I would put down 50% and we would be on our way to view the vehicle. I asked him if they would agree to accept $14,000 even which 2% less than the asking price. Josh stated he would check with the manager. As we were driving to their location (1 hour and 20 minutes away) Josh called and stated that he spoke with the owner because all deals must be approved by the owner and the owner will not take less than $15K. I politely stated no and ended the call. I can't imagine what would have occurred if we actually drove to the dealership. One of my sons sells used vehicles in another state and he informed me that dealers often make additional money thru financing adding a point or two to the interest rate. Due to our down payment and excellent credit, they wouldn't have been able to further profit from the financing. We would have refinanced the small balance with our own CU late anyway. My point in writing this review is to vent and to possible prevent another unsuspecting customer from being scammed. Do not conduct business with this dealership! More
