I called in to schedule 30,000 mile service and made the appointment to bring in my 2017 MKX. I had requested a loaner car, as I am disabled and we only have the one vehicle. A few days before the appointment I called to verify the appointment time and details. You had my old address on file and we updated that. Then Steve told me that because of the age of the car, you could not provide a loaner, but you would still be able to pick it up and deliver it when the service was completed. I explained to Steve that because of my condition that I need a vehicle available. I also told him that this was not my first Lincoln and probably not my last. He explained why you could not provide a loaner. After some more discussion, I agreed to the pickup and return option. A short time later Steve called me back, and said he discussed my situation with his superior and told me that they would supply a loaner but would not have one available until the next week. I happily told him that it would be fine and we made the appointment. While the car was in the shop, it was discovered it needed additional work done. Steve called me for approval and sent me some pictures of the required work. I explained to Steve that I had “Car Shield” and that would be covered by them. Steve told me they didn’t accept Car Shield so I didn’t have the additional work performed there. Everything (the 30,000 mile service, tire rotation, one factory recall) proceeded and the car was returned the same day. I just want to say, I believe Steve went above and beyond my expectations. He made me feel that I was important to the company. He is truly an asset to your company and Ford Motor Company Inc. More
