My wife and I wanted to purchase a truck--and we were thinking about purchasing it at the end of the summer. We started at a Wilmington area Chevrolet dealer. Not a fun experience at all. Change up the numbers to make it look like there was a radical difference between making 60 payments and other monthly payments. Anyway, my sister-in-law purchased a vehicle from Pointe a week or so before and working in Salem County, I had seen a lot of Pointe name badges in the area. We walked in and Jay put my wife and I at ease. I left knowing that if the price was right, that we were purchasing our truck from Jay and Pointe. After a couple of days, more incentives (thanks, GM), and locating the right truck for us (color, package, etc.) instead of simply moving something on the lot--we were there signing papers. Buying a new car from Pointe was a very pleasant experience. I had an interest in a GMC Terrain with options that Pointe did not have on the lot. I purchased my 2009 Pontiac G8 GT from Pointe and Kevin in February of 2009 for an incredible price I never expected, and they even had the clear bra, window tinting and accessories I requested set up with no more than an email from me. Afterwards, even living in southern Delaware and it being a 2 hour drive north, I returned for service because the service and parts department were top notch and worth the fun drive. I've recommended everyone looking for a GM vehicle to Kevin, including a friend who purchased a Certified GMC Envoy and was thrilled with his purchase. 2 years later, when my mother decided her beloved 2010 Camaro just wasn't the right vehicle for her daily uses, but simply could not work out a proper deal with the local Delaware dealer we've also dealt with before on a new Equinox, I made one call and an email to Kevin and the rest was history. Aggressive trade value on her Camaro, and he immediately dealer traded the exact 2011 GMC Terrain she wanted, securing all February incentives before the end of the month. I only wish she had been able to visit Pointe in person for the experience, but better for her, Kevin had her new Terrain and all paperwork delivered to her in person at work in DE--another flawless experience. My work involves many miles of travel. My former car was only 5 years old and already had more than 100,000 miles. Jay Mattox recommended the new GMC Acadia, allowed me to drive/ take a ride in one of the vehicles at the dealership, and I was very pleased with the ride and view. My husband and I ordered a 2011 Acadia, and we were able to arrange pick-up of the vehicle on my birthday, April 30th. Since that date, I have put more than 2500 miles on the Acadia. And so far, I have been pleased with the comfort of the ride, the handling of the vehicle in dicey situations, the view thru the side/rear windows, the sun/moon shine thru the sun roof, and yes, all the bells and whistles.
