The entire experience to date as been noteworthy in its quality and absence of " buy this today" hassle attitude exhibited at other dealerships. As well, everyone we meet showed an interest in helping us. We presented Taylor with a long list of questions to ask about the Macan we found on the Macanforum and he answered all of them, including setting up the information center to our needs. We had gone to three other dealerships prior to Walter's and found each of these had sales people who didn't care or wanted to up the price. My wife and I were pleased, a little nervous as the vehicle was expensive for us, and left "unafraid" to return for service or ask additional questions. More

All those dealerships selling to people who can plonk down cash for a 911 or a Panamera all day long. It’s already hard enough walking onto a normal car lot, with sleazy salesmen just waiting to swindle every last dime out of you, without adding the extra weight of snootiness. Not so at Walter’s. We were first time buyers, eager to get a Macan – a car we’d researched and fell in love with on a test drive at Newport Beach Bentley/Porsche. But when the salesman at NB didn’t know jack about the cars he was trying to sell us, and then acted as if he was doing us a favor by even pricing out a Macan for us, we decided to take our business elsewhere. I called up Walter’s after fuming for a little while at home, and got put through to Giovanni. What a relief – there WERE Porsche salesmen out there who DID know their cars, and who were eager to help! Giovanni is a Porsche owner himself and could answer all my questions about options, and he didn’t ONCE try to upsell me – a minor miracle considering we didn’t add on many options (and I’m a woman, which causes most car salesman to mistakenly identify me as someone who doesn’t know or care much about cars). He provided plenty of information, excellent advice, and was straight as a rail with all dealings. The whole process of reserving the car was done over phone and email. During the long wait for our car to arrive, Giovanni kept in touch at just the right intervals and guided us through the final week prior to delivery with perfect precision. And on the day of delivery, he took the time to teach us about the car and was very sensitive to our time pressures. The finance manager was awesome and got us out of his office with hardly believable efficiency. Honestly, no car buying experience has ever come close to this one – luxury car or not. We felt like we were Giovanni’s only customers, even though it was patently untrue and we were probably the smallest sale he’d had all year. We love our Macan and we love that we were able to purchase from a dealership and salesman that treated us with integrity and respect. We wholeheartedly recommend both Walter’s and Giovanni to anyone who asks, and will certainly buy our next Porsche from them! More

Both Ed and Bob are experienced drivers and are very knowledgeable about the characteristics of the various models. I regularly see Bob and the general manager, Ed McRae, when I visit the dealership or driving events, and they always have time to answer my questions or help with any issue I may have. It’s just like being a member of the family. As a result, I already have a good start on deciding which model to buy from Walter’s for my second car. I told him I didn't want to spend a lot of time in the dealership because March Madness was going on. He took all of my info and later picked me up at my home to lessen time spent away from home. Once I arrived the car was almost completey detailed and ready to go.
