"Fantastic service for out-of-staters!"

Our family was driving from Connecticut to Maine when our 2011 XC90 started making a funny sound. At the halfway point, we called Portland Volvo to ask if maybe they could take a look. This was Friday at around 3 pm. Lisa from the Service Dept. answered the phone and was extremely professional and sweet, but informed us there were no open spots that day. She suggested we leave the car overnight and maybe someone would get to it on Saturday. She even suggested a rental car dealership nearby. Nervous that we were going to do more damage if we tried to drive it home to get it looked at, we followed her advice and were surprise when she called early on Saturday to tell us that they squeezed our car in, and discovered the problem (I believe Walt was the technician who made the time for for our ER car visit. He could have gone for an extra long coffee break instead, so we appreciate it.) Lisa had all our paperwork taken care of when we arrived for pick up (just as they were closing), there was no push for extra work, and we drove away relieved and grateful. Portland Volvo saved our short weekend vacation and treated us Flatlanders just as kindly and respectfully as I'm sure they do their regular customers. Highly recommend.

Dave Cleaveland service manager at Portland Volvo did an excellent job helping me solve the problems with my 2014 XC90 Volvo. He was very kind,courteous,and professional. Also they gave me a brand new XC90 to use the days mine was in the garage. I am very pleased with Portland Volvo and would recommend them. Working with Ralph D'Angelo at Portland Volvo, I have purchased two Volvo station-wagons. Ralph as given me excellent advice and has delivered the cars that I have been looking for. I am so happy that Ralph sold me a 2017 V-60, and then explained the details of its operation. For the last sixteen years,I have been having my Volvo SWs serviced at Portland Volvo. The Service department at Portland Volvo does a wonderful job of taking care of my car. I would not take my car to another service department. In particular, I like working with Bryan Woodworth, who is great at explaining the sorts of maintenance work needed, and setting up the work for a time that fits into my schedule. Bryan takes care of customers. I so appreciate his professionalism.

I live in Bangor ME but a part on my Saab was recalled and needed to be replaced so I Googled around and found Portland Volvo. The reviews were great so I made an appointment for 1030. My husband and I arrived at 1005, we were greated, told it would be about an hour, have a seat and we will fix you right up. We pulled off the lot at 1105 with a complete inspection list, replaced part and the best service ever given from a dealership that didn't charge us a single cent.

"Yes, I'm the "key" guy! Great Customer Service!!"

True story. My son comes home from UMaine for winter break and needs minor repair work done on his Saab 9-3. We take it to a local mechanic in Windham and drop it off on a Tuesday night. I get a call Thursday that the mechanic can't get the car started. He states he thinks he can get the key fixed (by taking it apart) and/or get a couple of other fobs that can be programmed for the Saab. Bottom line, 2 weeks later and he has not been able to get any key to work.(????) It's time to take it to a Saab dealership; Portland Volvo. The technicians there let Bryan Woodworth in the Service Department know that of the 2 keys that were dropped off with the Saab, neither one belonged to the car and the key (and ignition box) will need to be replaced. This is not a cheap option and I am furious with 1st mechanic's ineptness/delays. Dave Cleveland (Service Manager at Portland Volvo), called me back and was empathetic to my situation. Even though we are a first time customer, Dave offered a deal on the new keys and labor already rendered, and handled a recall item on the Saab within 48 hours. Great Customer service by Bryan Woodworth and Dave Cleveland at Portland Volvo! I would highly recommend their services in the future, whether you are a long time customer or a first timer like us! Thank you gentlemen!
