The people were very nice and helpful. I called and asked if a car was available, it was. I should have asked how much the processing fee was. I was surprised and asked why. They said, oh, that’s not right, and got another paper with a 30 day warranty.The car-fax report says no accident, but when my bank looked it up it said front end damage reported. More

Extremely poor communication, inconsistent contact with the same service person between my 3 days having my vehicle there. Had a steering shaft replaced on my truck, steering became extremely stiff after. the same service person between my 3 days having my vehicle there. Service writers came up with multiple reasons it was something I did and not them, finally they claimed a bad outer tie rod was the problem, which was less than a year old, charged me 300 dollars to replace and problem still didn’t go away. I let them change my oil and they put the wrong oil in my truck, charged me a second disposal fee for draining and correcting it. These people seem to hope the customers don’t know vehicles or know how to read service write ups. First time there, will never go back. More
How would you rate It's not really her fault. But the estimate that received for the work to be done was outrageous. I was just in a few months ago and nothing came up in the inspection and then But the estimate that received for the work to be done was outrageous. I was just in a few months ago and nothing came up in the inspection and then suddenly it's $5k worth of stuff? Also - estimate did not include my warranty. I was happily surprised when I received the final bill. So then I questioned whether the wiper motor replacement should have actually been covered too - even though I declined to have it done. If it was covered I would have had it done. And $93 to swap out a wiper blade? Didn't feel like the experience I have come to expect from Portsmouth Chevy who I've been doing business with for years.
