Premier Kia values the customer relationships that we have. Our cars are sold with a 6 month/6,000 mile nationwide limited powertrain warranty. We would not "wash the engine" for the purpose of hiding any oil leaks. Our Service Manager has been in contact with you and has only noted normal seepage due to the miles on your vehicle (in excess of 114,000 miles). The price you indicated in your review also includes additional work that you had questions on. We remain willing to work with you. Simply call us so that we can further discuss this matter. We are truly sorry that you feel this way. As you can tell from our other online reviews and BBB A Rating, Premier Kia values our customer relationships. The vehicle you purchased was technically "as-is" under the laws of the State of Connecticut. Notwithstanding, Premier Kia provided you with a 6 month/6,000 mile nationwide limited powertrain warranty - good anywhere - at no additional charge. The vehicle you purchased exceeded all State standards when you picked it up, and, was fully emission compliant. Registrations cannot be processed via the DMV computer absent of emission compliancy. At this time, more than eight months later, we understand that you have a code the results in the need to replace the catalytic converter. We have offered you a substantially discounted repair (using either OEM or aftermarket parts) as a customer goodwill, of which you declined. This discount results in a repair of about 1/2 of what you indicated in your review. As you know, you opted for other preventative maintenance services in the past and we, also, offered you a substantial discount of which you took advantage. We are truly sorry that you are not satisfied and, we believe we have worked to come to a resolution for you to assist. Our offer to assist, as we have indicated to you, remains open should you wish to take advantage of it.

We do stand by the response we made and, we do continue to offer you a substantial discount on the repair you need. Thank you.
