I recently purchased my second Subaru from Premier. I am very grateful for the level of service and finding the exact vehicle I was looking for and for making the process as smooth as possible… TOP MARKS. Unfortunately, the finance department leave more to be desired. I was pitched a service plan that was explained to me as to covering ALL services for 125k miles, oil changes, tire rotations, etc, so long as I got the services done at the dealership. As someone who drives quite a bit for a commute, I of course agree… upon bringing my vehicle in for its first oil change, the service department explained that no such package exists and that what I paid $2865 for was a Warranty… why in the world I would agree to an “extended” warranty on a vehicle that already has a lifetime power train warranty, is absolutely beyond me. Point being, I was blatantly lied to. Shame on me for trusting the word of a company that I had been previously doing business with for the previous 6 years and not ensuring everything that was being said was written clearly in a contract. Don’t trust a word. More
