I inititially went to Preston Autoplex to test drive a Mazda 6. Nearly five hours later, I walked out the owner of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS. My first point of contact for the Mazda, Loren Mayr (sales co Mazda 6. Nearly five hours later, I walked out the owner of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS. My first point of contact for the Mazda, Loren Mayr (sales consultant) was a tremendous asset, and full of energy. He was extremely knowledgable about the Mazda and had a contagious, upbeat attitude. After my Mazda testdrive, I told him I wanted to testdrive the Sonata, which I'd noticed immediately upon entering the Preston Autoplex. He was as enthusiastic about my interest in the Sonata as he was my interest in the Mazda and introduced me to John Skalstad, Jr., the GM of Preston Hyundai. John was phenomenal. He knew the Hyundai cars inside out, had test driven many of them, and was genuine, thoughtful, and patient with my numerous questions. He, along with Loren, and Mike Magan (who, later that day, helped me figure out payment options for the Hyundai), made me feel entirely comfortable and at home. I never once felt like they were trying to "sell" me anything; I was never pressured. Every question I had - whether it was about the car's performance or about financing - was answered thoroughly. John, Loren, and Mike's service was not just good - it was excellent. I have never had an experience of such good customer service, and I want to do all I can to make sure others have this experience. More

Without a doubt this is the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with -- without exception. From the salesperson I had contacted before my visit, RJ Jackson, to the Manager of th had the pleasure of doing business with -- without exception. From the salesperson I had contacted before my visit, RJ Jackson, to the Manager of the dealership, Bruce, I was never made to feel pressured by anyone there. RJ was the salesman that I would like to have every time I buy a new car. I contacted him by phone initially just to get information. He provided that quickly and efficiently, and was always available for questions. I didn't feel pressured to visit the dealership immediately, as I had with other dealerships I had contacted. He knew that I was looking around, researching other cars, and taking my time. When I did decide that Preston was a place I wanted to visit, RJ was there when I arrived, fully prepared to do whatever he could to make it a fruitful visit. He was unfailingly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable -- but if he didn't have an answer he would SAY SO (a nice change from the salesmen who try to finesse that) and then get the full answer for me. Of course, I knew that he would like me to purchase a car, but I never once felt that the sale was his sole purpose --he wanted me to buy the car that I would be happy with, and he was willing to help me get to that point no matter what it required on his part. I got the same sense of how important customer service and customer satisfaction is to this dealership from the Manager, Bruce. Again, there was no pressure to "make the sale at any cost" that I had experienced at other dealerships. My perception was that the team at Preston was professional, exceptionally honest and helpful, but since the Hyundai product was such a successful one, that they didn't have to push as hard to sell that product, so it felt more relaxed. If that was true or not, it was the impression I had and it was a refreshing change. Mike Mangan did the paperwork and took care of that process quickly and effienciently. Thanks to all at Preston Hyandai for a great experience --and a great car. I was impressed, and I would definitely return to Preston for my next car. More

I went to Preston Hyundai to purchase a new,dependable and affordable car for my fiancee,Aya. I was very pleasantly suprised when we first approached the sales room to see a very familiar face, one whose and affordable car for my fiancee,Aya. I was very pleasantly suprised when we first approached the sales room to see a very familiar face, one whose great customer service over the past ten (10) years has caused me to buy approximately five (5+-) cars directly from him, Ron Cannon.Ron, knows me, and he knows my likes and dislikes when it comes to customer service, and a salesman's professionalism. Ron knows when I say give me your bottom line, he gets it and I believe him. Thats the repore, him and i have built over the years of doing business together. When Aya explained to Ron which car she wanted and the color, Ron went to work right away on finding Aya the exact car she wanted and by the beginning of the next week, he delivered on his promise. We got the car we wanted, for the price we wanted, all from a no-nonsense salesman who, after this experience, will continue to get my business well into the future. In March 2010 I walked into Presto Hyundai met R J Jackson told him that I was looking to find a Dodge Grand Caravan 2003-2005 with 100k< 2 months later he called me back saying that he had a canidate Jackson told him that I was looking to find a Dodge Grand Caravan 2003-2005 with 100k< 2 months later he called me back saying that he had a canidate if I was still in the market. I went to look and drive it made the deal I was looking for and the rest is history. R J has been very helpful he gave me a Carfax report on my old vehicle I sold it 3 days later for my price Bingo! I have asked for some subsequent service and R J has been there to help. I will reccommend and would buy Preston again. Look for R J Jackson at the Hyundai @ Preston He will service your needs with out being pushy and without an attitude. I have mentioned to R J that I plan on trading my Mustang in shortly and can think of no other place to go but Preston. My wife and I live in Harford County which took almost two hours to arrive at Preston; however the drive was worth it. I would recommend Preston to anyone we talk about the vehicle.
