He lied about my insurance company refusing to cover my sunroof. Made me wait while he did paperwork. Told me there was no one else to help me. Either sit down and wait or leave. Of course I chose the latter. I contacted the manager Mike. He was very pleasant and helpful. I explained to him how I was treated. When I asked Steven where I pay for get my car looked at(130 fee) he stoop from his desk tossed the key towards me and to me don't even worry just leave. Wooooow. It's true. I did tell Mike. Within about 20 mins Mike had me scheduled to return. He explained how the issue was with the understanding of the insurance company. It wasn't before I was authorized by my insurance company to go to BMW. I was given a rental. When I came to pick my car up. Steven came to me never apologizing about making me feel as if this dealership was too good for my money because I'm a young black male. That issue was never addressed. The day after getting my car back I hit a pothole and cracked my rim. Smh. My car was towed to BMW of princeton. My claims adjustor was told that the tire received no damage it was only a cracked wheel. Told my insurance company my tire just had wear and tear. My insurance company paid for a new rim but my rim are custom and had to find. Bonding of the rim was authorized by my insurance. YES they pocketed the difference between the new and the bonding. Ummmm? Nevertheless I had my car back for about to weeks. My low tire pressure comes on and it the same tire/wheel that was just replaced . I go back to bmw and they sent a worker outside with me to check o the issue. There was shredding of my tire only in the spot where the rim was cracked. BMW no its wear and tear. Meaning that my tire was that way before the rim cracked. I was told that I am a few days away from a complete blow out of my tires. Woooow. The impact that made my rim crack was so hard it made the rear airbag comeout. But somehow this tire that bwm says "was already in that condition" didn't blowout? Hmmm. Steven never got out of his chair to see the tire. Plus no mention of a dire need for a tire was noted on my copy of the dealership paperwork. And let's no forget they had the car the day before the accident. And that time they had it for close to a wk or more. Either was if the tire was like that as they claim. This must have be noticed after the rim was bonded and they were in the process of putting the tire back on the rim. It's impossible to miss. And they allowed me to drive away like this. That's what they're claiming anyway. No one ever called and said Mr. Camp you need a new tire now. NEVER! The damage to that tire couldn't have been done in that short or time out less there's an issue with the bonded rim. That's what one of there employees said. Steven even told me to go to American tires because they're cheaper. OFFENSIVE? He did try to lighten the mood by pretending to look side to side as if he were giving me secret advice. Once again my was contacted and true to form he called me back right away and offered for me to bring the car back in. I'm going to pass this time because I see the pattern. This is done to silence people. I don't trust the integrity of this dealership. I am having my car towed (because it's unsafe to drive) to an independent dealership. This matter is being forwarded to the BBB More

I Emailed the sales rep with everything he offered and wanted to confirm that in writing. The rep replied by Email with a positive answer, and said they had 2 cars in stock for the quoted price. Since it was very close to the end of March, I decided to spend my work time and drive more than 25 miles one-way with my friend over there to close the deal. It was good in the beginning, then things turned sour until I saw the numbers of $ payment. That wasn't what I was offered! They started xx for different car paints and the add-on of a moon roof. Fine, I accepted those add-ons and did a calculation with them about how much additional I should pay even with those add-ons. I showed the Email correspondence that I had with the sales rep. They did not honor their quote, saying that the price was only available for the advertised VIN and now they are all gone, bla bla bla..., and the price I got was close to a 328 X. I just walked away. A pure waste of time and I will not go back to that dealsership! More

Every time I need service, he is on top of things and he makes me feel like we have been friends for years. He knows that I want the best for my cars and if he is not sure, he always has the service manager (Mike Sobecki) to reassure me. (that is hugh) !!!! I highly recommend this dealership. They know their stuff and more. Having Luke as a service guy is like finding a unicorn. More

Worst Car Buyng Experience - Do Not Go Here! The price negotiation process was where the process went south but it was not due to the price being offered. You have to be very careful with this dealership as they are VERY DISHONEST. I must advise you all to keep ALL paper trails. The first written quote I had from Laura the Sales Manager had x amount discounted and I asked them to lower the purchase price and change to a financing model instead of a lease. They took away the first paper and came back with the second with a lower purchase price but then decreased the amount of the discount by several hundred dollars though not noticeable by me at first as the payment amounts were completely different then that of the lease. We continued to work down the purchase price and they valued the payoff on my Honda lease as 1K less then what was owed. Both Lenny and Laura had indicated to me that we would split this cost $500 additional. Lenny had indicated that as I wanted $3K down instead of $3500 if I paid $3500 we would call it a deal. I had asked for the original lease quote they gave me as I wasn't set on the purchase price and wanted to compare side by side with the lease payments. That's when I noticed that the discount was off by several hundred. I went to Laura and she dismissed it and said if you take the car today we will just get to x purchase price which was the original discount minus ~$200 or so. I then asked multiple times so if we are $3500 and not at $4K down and this purchase price, this will be my payment for financing or this other sheet for the lease payment and you would call the Honda a wash. Both Lenny and Laura agreed. We shook hands and I thought we closed on the deal. Then came the unfortunate time when I had to provide my salary information. I gave my salary which is high, not millionaire high but high enough. The demeanor completely changed and I think it was because I had a great deal on the price. However, a deal was a deal we continued with the process and I quite honestly thought we were done, so done that we got to the part where we completed the transfer or car insurances, they had my honda keys, Lenny was explaining the car features, etc. and it was then that Laura then came out telling me actually my payments were wrong. I was understandably shocked and upset. She said I should pay more for the Honda. I then said what? you mean the $500 more that I had been asking about? She said no but not much higher. How could this possibly be? I had asked this several times of both her and Lenny so there would be no mistake in understanding. She left and went to her office and didn't come back out. Lenny quite frankly also didn't understand and said he would go talk to her. He then came back and said sorry I guess there was a misunderstanding. A misunderstanding?!? I told him that I felt this was due to me having a higher salary though he tried to assure me it was not. Though the payments were not that much higher and I could have afforded it, I just never encountered a dealership so apparently dishonest. They should be ashamed on selling the BMW name. I have owned several BMWs in the past as well as other cars and have never an experience such as this. I did check out dealerrater previously but, figured it may just be a fluke, Ill be willing to give them a chance as they are closer to where I live. This was a HUGE MISTAKE, their ratings speak for themselves. Completely disgusted with this experience. If they were the least bit professional they should have remembered that I could have been a repeat customer and quite frankly the X5 was the first car I was going to get however was also eyeing the 640 to replace a second car we had whose lease was up in 3 months. Congratulations Princeton BMW on managing to ward off another customer. More
No professionalism whatsoever, from Secretary to Manager I am a new owner of a BMW. I thought I was moving up from an Acura. Perhaps I moved up in the prestige of the "car"; but I took a huge hit in custom I am a new owner of a BMW. I thought I was moving up from an Acura. Perhaps I moved up in the prestige of the "car"; but I took a huge hit in customer service. I thought moving up would mean better customer care -- clearly not at this dealership. I was simply picking up my car on a weekend, and we got into an argument with the secretary because she took to heart what I was saying to the service manager. I was correcting myself, but before I could, she interjects into the conversation, with a big attitude. Really??? You're a "secretary". Your job entails you to respect customers and "kindly" disagree if necessary. You don't butt into a conversation that a customer is having with the service manager in charge. Oddly enough, the service manager did not tell her to keep calm and to give "ME", the "CUSTOMER", the benefit of the doubt. Secondly, I've had issues with the sales team (not my immediate salesman, luckily), as well as the sales manager. On one instance, the sales manager told me he'd call me back regarding an issue. When I asked him "what time could I expect to hear back from you tomorrow", he was very patronizing and responded "when I say I'll call you, I'll call you". What kind of a response is that? And from a manager? But it gets better. After 10 days, no call. When I went to pick up my car, he acted like he had done his part, and I should have received the information via mail, but he just forgot to call me. Well, guess what -- I checked my mail, and nothing had arrived. He was still lying to me in my face. I would never recommend this place. If you want a BMW, pay a little extra, but make sure you are absolutely happy with the dealership you are buying from. There's no reason to pay that kind of money for service that could not be any worse. And there are many other car makes that would love to have your business. In my 13 years of owning an Acura, not once did I have such a negative experience -- even when I went to an Acura dealer from whom I did not purchase the vehicle. I like the style, prestige, and drive of the BMW. But with service like this, I will pass next time. More

We had gone on KBB and Auto Trader to get a rough estimate of the trade in value, and I told the salesmen that our purchase rested on getting that trade in value. Therefore, I asked if we could get a value before the test drive so we could make sure we were in the right ballpark, he said we would do it after. We went through a test drive, nice guy, and then sat down for numbers. The rate from the ad was right, and then came the trade in. We went through all the steps, he leaves a couple times coming back with questions and then comes back with a paper with handwritten numbers and we asked what the value was, seeing a few numbers on the paper and he avoided the question starting to talk about dropping the MSRP a few grand for us. It wasn't until we had been there for over an hour and a half that he told us they would pay less than half of the KBB and Autotrader values, but not to worry he can just roll that 5k difference into the lease no problem, it only raises our payment $179 a month. I asked how it was possible for a KBB of 11.5k to be worth $4700 and he said that they would probably only list it on a lot for $6900... a vehicle consistently selling for over 10k on auto trader. I was surprised at this treatment from a dealer with what I thought was good reputation. I knew going in the trade in was important and told him that upfront which is why I asked for the value before we proceeded. Then I asked again when we sat down, and again when he brought back the piece of paper. It wasn't until he had quoted us $179/month over the ad for the vehicle because of the "difference in my trade in" that I was told my trade in value was so egregiously low. If we had been told that trade in value at the beginning like we asked we could have saved everyone a lot of time. When I saw my cousin later today he was surprised that we had the same situation and told me when he bought his 4 series earlier this year, he had a similar experience with George. Hours in, ready to finish up and they quoted a trade in equally as low. He was going to leave had the manager not come to see what he could do to make the sale happen, and rectified the situation with a fair price. I understand dealers make money, and I had heard good things about Princeton BMW before so I am really surprised at this practice being employed. I was looking forward to getting in that car, had everything lined up to sign that day, and was really disappointed being led along such a long path asking for the trade in only to find out how low it is probably to make up for the discounted lease deal.
