I made an appointment to come in for service 2 weeks ago. I was told my appointment would be that wednesday at 945am. I called Tuesday evening just to confirm the time and was told that they did not see me I was told my appointment would be that wednesday at 945am. I called Tuesday evening just to confirm the time and was told that they did not see me in the system for having an appoinment and that they were booked for the next week! Horrible. Not to mention every single time you call the service department you will always get an answering service to leave a message and then hope for a return call. I have visited several BMW centers and I have never encountered a service dept like this. So I try to give the service center another try as it is the closest BMW to my home. I woke up to a flat tire. I called and of course got no answer from the service dept. I called back and spoke to the operator and asked for her to go get someone in service who I could speak to directly. I did not have an appointment but wanted to see if I could come by and get a new tire put on since I had the warranty. I was connected to someone in service who was clearly annoyed. He stated that he would need the tire name and size and he would have to see if they had it in stock. If they didnt then they would have to order it. Also that the warranty company was most likely not open since it was a saturday so I would have to pay out of pocket and then put in for a reimbursement. There was nothing positive out of the conversation. It was clear he did not want to go through the hassle of helping me. It was like he was trying to discourage me from coming in. Its not good service I wont go back. Ill instead go to Flemington which is considerable futher from my home but if it means a better experience then so be it. More

From the moment I pulled up- to the moment I picked up my car- I felt special. My loaner was a brand new 5 series---no bad at all!!! Luke was wonderful keeping updated and could not have been nicer. Princeton BMW far surpasses any dealings that I have ever had with an automotive company. Everyone that I had dealings with; the service writers, managers, receptionist, technicians, etc. . . all showed th had with an automotive company. Everyone that I had dealings with; the service writers, managers, receptionist, technicians, etc. . . all showed the utmost quality and car of our needs. They were all very kind, courteous and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Princeton BMW to anybody and I will be returning for muy future automotive needs. More
I took my 330i for routine oil change, maintenance and told them about the scrap on my rim (which was all under warranty). They told me that they would contact an outside vendor concerning the wheel job. told them about the scrap on my rim (which was all under warranty). When I came to pick the car up, they only changed my oil and no one had attempted to contact the outside vendor for the wheels (I bought the wheel warranty from BMW). I asked them about this and they simply told me that their vendor was closed that day but they would get in touch with me concerning the wheel warranty. Of course they never did and now my warranty on the wheels is expired and I still don't know who to take it to!?? They only cared about what they got reimbursed for and that was it! Also, they replaced a rear tail-light but when I picked up my car, it was obvious that the lighting on one side was much brighter than the other---given that they are BMW, you would think they would pay attention to this kind of detail and simply put a new bulb on the other side as well so they looked even--but NO! It was too much to ask for from this shop. All this shop seemed to care about is getting paid and not a bit more for the customer. They will not go out of their way for you. I will NEVER take my car back to PRINCETON BMW for service or sales for that matter... More
Bought a 2009 528I from this dealer. First issue happened during the paperwork closing when I found out that the car had 22,719 miles instead of 21,256. The Manager that put all the miles on the car came to me and tried to convince me that it was a honest mistake, that the car was perfect, that he never smoked in it, etc. I found later on that he did smoke in the car all the time. The Service Department performed 2 procedures to eliminate the odor but the car still has the problem. When I drove the car, I also notice that it had something wrong (weird loud noise) coming from the tires or the drive train. While servicing it for the smoke odor problem, they checked on it and said that it was the tires. They told us the noise is the result of uneven wear pattern but because the tires are safe, the Dealer won't replace them. Don't forget here, I spent $43,000 buying a Certified Pre-owned BMW. As you can see the Dealer's Manager lied to me on almost everything he told me. Be careful when buying at Princeton BMW. More

We purchased a 2011 X5 last October and have had to bring the vehicle back for service 4 times, beginning not even a month after we bought the car. Since, the car has gone back for service for the same issue the vehicle back for service 4 times, beginning not even a month after we bought the car. Since, the car has gone back for service for the same issue 3 times; January, end of May and a week later in June. Steve Mallen, our Service Advisor, has been wonderful through it all. He is personable, extremely patient, and thorough. The General Manager, Jim Christ, has tried to turn our bad experience around and has been very accomodating, but we continue to have issues each and every time we pick up the vehicle after being serviced. The tan leather interior on the seat was covered in grease the first time we picked it up, the tan door panel was also marked up on another occasion and then the carpet, floor mats and foot area was black and scuffed up with foot markings. I can't recall ever having picked up any of my luxury vehicles from the dealerships after being serviced and having dealt with these issues. I would expect the car to be returned in the condition exactly as it was when dropped off. Another issue is having to wait 7 days to schedule a service appointment when a loaner is needed. I would think a dealership of this magnitude would have more loaner cars available or hire more service technicians so that these service appointments (other than standard service maintenance)can be made on a Saturday. Although the dealership looks beautiful, the service department needs improvement. I would say if you are looking only for the best price, this dealership is your place. But if you want continued service with the highest standards, reconsider and go elsewhere. More
