Pundmann Ford opened it's doors on April 25, 1925, in St. Charles on the corner of Jefferson and Second streets as one of the first automobile dealerships in the area. Pundmann endured the Great Depression, World War II and in 1951 moved to their second location at 1001 North Second Street.
In 1968 Pundmann Motor Co made its final move to 2727 West Clay to where it now sits today. Additionally, the dealership is still owned and operated by the Pundmann Family. Pundmann Motor Company's approach to business has always stayed the same, Pundmann People Care. It is because of this approach that our store has received national recognition for our excellence in customer service.

I was Disappointed with my purchase. I would have thought the vehicle would have been checked more thoroughly before being put for sale. I took the vehicle in for a "trip Check" 3 weeks after purchase. Gaskets are leaking (rear). I now have to pay $1700 for repairs. My experience was good with the people. However, since I bought "as is" feeling good about purchasing from a dealership. I would be remiss if I didn't express my disappointment.. If you are buying as is, don't be overly confident because it is from a dealership. More

He readily and thoroughly answered all my Maverick and Maverick-accessory related questions, was enormously helpful on my test drive, and searched tooth-and-nail to find my exact configuration. There was absolutely no pressure—unlike most dealerships, they never try to push you into something you don’t want. Instead, they take the time to listen and personalize everything to your wants and needs. On top of that, I’ve had nothing but excellent professional service from their service and parts departments. They always take the time to listen to any issue or concern, work with you to troubleshoot, and their highly experienced mechanics do a fantastic job diagnosing and correcting problems. It’s rare to find a dealership where sales, service, and parts are all equally outstanding, but Pundmann truly delivers across the board. Highly recommend. More

Had front seal leaking that had been doing it for "some time". Guess the inspectors at Pundmann didn't look very well. When buying the vehicle, I already had my financing in place and told them 5 times not to run a hard credit check because it would raise my credit score unnecessarily. They did it anyway and now my score is higher if I try to borrow any more money for the repairs. Thanks Pundmann. Worst car buying experience in my 72 year-old life. More
